She had been told what to expect when it came time for her to complete her training and embark on the world with all that she knew. The opportunities that might be afforded to her should somebody wish to purchase her. Perhaps Jules was too humble for her own good, but in fairness she had no idea how special she was. She saw herself as little more than a capable Omega who she hoped was pretty enough. Inoffensive. Unobtrusive and at least what she lacked in experience, she made up for with her eagerness to please, her willingness to earn and a hint of innocence that could not be faked, no matter how many of the girls she had trained with had desperately tried to replicate Jules very existence in their own manner.
None of the other Omegas were being brought to a private retreat for what was, she had been told, a very special viewing. Not the auction she expected where if she was lucky, somebody might bid on her. Instead, no expense had been spared to bring Jules and Jules alone for a private audience with a man so significant, nobody would tell her anything about him. A man who waited for her now as somebody helped to put the finishing touches on a look that played up her innocence while still flattering her porcelain skin and gentle curves.
She wore not a smudge of make-up as her hair had been styled in loose, soft curls that fell down the middle of her back. Her pink, rosebud lips. Softening her features as she took in her appearance in the mirror. She had been scrubbed clean, erasing any trace of the men who had trained her, and smelled very faintly of some sort of flower she could never have named. The picture of allure and innocence all wrapped in one small package as she waited to be brought before a perfect stranger who would likely - in her mind at least - deem her lacking.
The floor was cool beneath her bare feet as somebody finally came to collect her. Their flaring nostrils and heated gaze, proof enough that she made quite the impression dressed as she was. Yet Jules was more perplexed by his response than she was pleased by it, as ever unaware of the effect she had on the opposite sex. The brunette was always surprised when anybody looked at her and beheld a person of true worth or desire. Perhaps if she were not so distracted by what was to happen next, she might have been aware of his stolen glances. The way he had inched closer to her as he led her through a building that was much finer than the Mansion she had been permitted to live in while undergoing her training as an Omega.
He almost seemed reluctant to knock on the door when they arrived at a private study. A room that had been chosen for Jules to have an audience with this man who everyone seemed excited to have staying here. "Should I knock?" Sounding unsure of herself as they stood there, Jules waiting for something to happen. It was her words that forced him to act finally, knocking lightly to warn of their arrival. Yet before he could open the door, she lid a hand on his arm. Stalling for a moment as she asked what was to her, the most obvious question;
"What if he doesn't like me?"
You would think she had just spoken in tongues for the look he now gave her. Jules growing slightly self-conscious beneath his stare before he seemed to gather his wits and shake it off with a shake of his head. "Just be yourself, Miss. I doubt you'll have any problems in that regard." She wanted to ask him what made him so sure, but he was opening the door. A hand extended to encourage her to move into the room that was much darker than she had expected. The gauzy robe that draped from her shoulders swayed as she moved into the room. Jules aware of the stranger's presence long before she even laid eyes on him as she turned to face him so he could appraise her. Then jut as she was taught, she lowered herself to her knees with her hands neatly folded in her lap. Every bit the obedient Omega, just waiting for an Alpha to want to make her his own.
