Used to be that Britain was the backward country on demihuman relations. I spent a lot of time in Romania defending Britain against Europeans who found use hopelessly regressive on beast and being issues. I reckon I'm going to have a few new stories to tell when I go home. All the ones from the preserve will be good, don't worry, but the New York Ghost article today is exactly the sort of thing we'd've seen in the Prophet in the runup to the war when I was a young man.

Certainly I'm telling my brother and his wife and daughters to be careful about their travel plans. I'd hoped they might visit me while I was on assignment here but I think I'll leave that for members of my family who wouldn't have to register for being who they are.
