So.

Basically I am seriously overwhelmed with the amount of stuff that has to be sorted out. This is no one's fault but my own AND I have to say that everyone volunteering is making my life 1000 times easier, so I have no complaints in that department.

However, I would like to know if it might be a good idea all around to pause BL for a few days (maybe till, say, Friday), so that things can get straightened, people can start school, you can go on a date, get started in other games, whatever. But I'm not going to do so without a sound majority. Please don't vote with multiple journals!

Would you object to BL 'pausing' for a few days so things can get straightened out?

Yes, please don't. I will die of withdrawal.

Okay so I voted #1 and it still stands but I also have a #3 kind of comment to make--

I don't usually think it's a good idea for games to pause, because it makes them lose momentum. Of course, I'm slightly biased because I have plot I was supposed to get started this week and my BL time is limited, but I don't think it would be implausible for Voldie et al to just let things simmer for awhile because fear/chaos is beneficial to them, and it will look good when they restore order. I think you would be better served by saying something like "prophet starts going out again tomorrow, with gag order still in place. gringrotts still allows withdrawals. blah blah blah" and then just let everyone gloat/simmer for a week.

The problem I have with that scenario is that people aren't going to just simmer - on the order and guerilla side. The death eaters might want to take their sweet time fiddling around and figuring things out, but the rest of the game isn't, and since I/they/we are simply not ready to get shit done, momentum is going to falter either way.

Well I guess my thinking is that even if the Order and the Guerilla's plan and obsess til their brains fall out, they're still not going to get anything done this week.

I guess my suggestion is predicated upon the idea that everyone is so confused right now and trying to figure out basic living stuff--like how to convert money and where to get food, that the next five days on the order/guerilla side can be spent healing/organizing/figuring out basic logistics of communication, etc. Until the Ministry announces the new rules/Minister/etc., there really isn't much to rebel against.
