As of recent posts in the RP Community (bloodsings_rp), Phoebe Halliwell contacted Owen Harper of Torchwood with an idea. That idea was to use Charmed Ones magid with Torchwood technology to create and interdimensional hub.

That hub is P3.

Also in game, Phoebe has made mention of an online networking site that she runs. That would be bloodsingsblood.

Each member (character) of the network will receive in the mail:

1) A small rectangular device that looks like a GPS, only it has a keypad on it.

2) An instruction manual on using the device.

3) A letter of explanation from Phoebe Halliwell, Piper Halliwell, Owen Harper, and Gwen Cooper. This includes a map for your character to get to their world's P3. It also stresses that secrecy and confidentiality is important. Simply put, if you bring someone that is not on the member list, that person will be punted and your character's membership frozen for a period of time.


The letter will go on to explain that once you enter into P3, you are now in the hub. In order to walk out the door to somewhere else, you will have to key in the coordinates onto your GPS device and then take it to one of the keypads located around the club at the doors and windows. As soon as the destination is accepted, when you open the door to leave, you will find that you are in the world you wished to go to. If you just want to go back to your world from P3, no coordinates are required. You just walk out the door and you're back where you came in.

However, there are some security measures in place:

1) You can only be in that different world for up to twelve hours without sending a message back through the device that you are staying longer. If twelve hours pass and you have not been heard from, security officials from P3 will come to make sure of your safety, or you will simply disappear and find yourself back in P3.

2) No one but the person who is assigned the GPS will be able to use it. If someone tries to, it will short-circuit and disappear.

3) Phoebe is known as a very powerful empath. If you are trying to go to another world just to cause trouble or hurt someone, you will not be able to get to the world you want to. Oh, you can put in the cooridinates, but you will keep having side trip mishaps.

4) That being said -- causing mayhem and trouble in other worlds and times is fine, that's part of RP. HOWEVER please make sure that people who have characters in that world know about it because they will react.

5) Picking fights or being assholes to the staff of P3 is allowed, just be advised that the characters being affronted will react -- and not always nicely.


Now then, the RP comm is not a structured game. It's supposed to be an offshoot of what Blood was originally created for. The main focus of Blood is still prompt responses and people talking to each other in the journals so that there is meeting of people across worlds. The Interdimensional P3 is just an addendum so that the people can actually meet and talk face to face and go around visiting new places. We would like to see people doing prompts as well as having fun in the RP community. Posts in the RP comm will include both P3 posts and posts in other worlds.

Later on this evening, there will be a Grand Opening Party Meet And Greet posted in the RP Community. This will be the signal that the new P3 is opened for business and that GPS devices are now operational.

Nothing bad, we promise.

First, please go HERE and make sure your character is still listed. I was making changes to the table and I may have missed some people in the conversion stages.

Second, in regards to the Taken Table: I've split up the Original Characters section because it was getting a bit unwieldy for me. So, there were three things done:

1) If your character is an OC associated within a certain fandom, I moved that character to the fandom and added (OC) at the end of their name.

2) If your character is a complete original with no fandom affiliation at all, that character is listed in the "Original Character" section.

3) There is a new character section on the table labelled "Cross-Fandom Original Characters". This is where the OC's that are affiliated with more than one fandom are located.

Third, most of you are aware that we have an associated RP community located at bloodsings_rp. It occured to us that just having the community wasn't enough and that we had to work it up where people could have their characters go there to play or wander into other universes.

After brainstorming and thinking about this, one of the things that will happen with bloodsings_rp is that there will be a hub -- P3. Forged with the magic of the Charmed Ones and the technology of Torchwood, P3 is a hub to several different universes.

There will be an indepth IC and OOC write up coming up soon, and we'll say that anyone who has "connected to the Blood Sings servers" will have gotten information on how to get to the club in their own worlds and go from there.

We would still like to see interactive conversations on the journals in response to prompts, but we also would like to see people having fun and being able to RP between worlds. We figured that this was a great way to accomplish that.

Hey Guys,

We're really sorry that we haven't been around and missed posting prompts. We've been frantic with packing as two of us were suddenly moving at the same time --- but not with each other.

We'll try to get back on schedule this week, but we also have a question. How would you guys feel if we added an RP community to the place. It would be somewhere characters could go and socialize. It'd be like a hidden keep/ounge/castle/cabin in a pocket universe. You could have any kind of interactions there and any RP could definitely be used as inspirations for prompt answers.

What do you guys think?

I just went through and updated tags. If you post and find that there is not a tag for your character, please comment at Page-A-Mod and we'll get you set up.

Also, I believe that the Friending Button is up to date as well.

Hey All,

We've added all character and fandom tags to the main community, and went through the entries and added tags to those as well.

When you post, please post with the tag of your character, their fandom and the prompt number. If you have an fandom-based original character, please add both the tag for original character and the fandom.

There is a list of all tags located here and it's also listed in the links sidebar. Each character that comes into the community will get a character tag and every fandom will have a tag as well.

We've also updated the friending button as well.

I'm not feeling so well, so I'll have to finish adding people to the table tomorrow. After which, I will alphabetize each section, as well.

This a prompt community in the same vein as Theatrical_Muse or Writers_Muses on LJ, but we are not affiliated with those communities. We will post a weekly or bi-weekly prompt or set of prompts. Your responsibility will be to make sure you/your muse answers a prompt at least once a month. If you won't be around for a month or two, please let the MODS know.

RULES:

01) Any muse in any fandom may be applied for and written for.
02) Only two versions of any muse is allowed, so long as it is very clear that the characters are alternate versions of each other. However, this can be modified and discussed if the canon has established that there are alternate time lines, as in the case of Heroes. More may be allowed on a case by case basis.
03) No real person muses -- UNLESS they are historic characters and have been gone over a hundred years.
04) Original muses are allowed.
05) No more than two of the same PB should be used as it causes a great deal of confusion among the writers. However, this limit doesn't get counted against roles that the PB has actually played. For instance, Katie McGrath is used as a PB for two book characters. This does not prevent someone from bringing in Morgana from Merlin. That is already an established role and canon, so it doesn't count with the PB limit. If you are playing identical twins, that counts only once towards the PB limit.
06) No wank and no attacking of writers if you don't agree with how they are writing their muse. This is their perception of the character.
07) Keep OOC drama out of the community.
08) We would like that each muse respond to a prompt at least once a month, but we will not kick you out if you don't. We want this community to be laid back for our members and not be worried about participation. Write when the muse is talkative, but prompt responses must be at least 100 words.
09) At this time, there is no limit on how many muses a person can have as long as they are kept active. We'll be creating tags for each character and we ask that you tag your entries in the community appropriately.
10) Prompt responses can be posted in your character journal with a link to the main community.
11) When you post for your muse, please make sure that you have the Prompt number in the subject line and the correct footer for each entry.
