Roxy and Abel
Buena Vista Park, then a diner
Late Evening
Roxy was having another craving, though this one wasn't as easy to feed as going to the corner shop for some gummy bears or the local bar for a beer. This was for flesh and blood and vital organs, particularly of the human variety. She had eaten the odd human or two back in her days with the pride, the alpha lioness hadn't been too keen on sharing their kills with the orphan cheetahs but understood what the girls meant to the alpha lion so grudgingly gave the girls the worst parts. Roxy hadn't thought to much of the meat then, but once out on her own, when she had a taste of rush that was the chase and kill it quickly became her favorite meat. Out in the wilderness and countryside she could occasionally indulge, but the cities presented so many problems.
Water water everywhere but not a drop to drink, or so it felt like with so many eyes to potentially see her and so little space to run. She ignored the craving for the most part but when it got to be too much she changed her hunting tactics.
There was no more lying in wait then chasing down the first lone person to cross her path, now it was about bait. She wasn't always so selective with her prey but hunting in the city allowed her to be and she decided to go for thugs and human predators no one that would be missed and would likely improve the world with their absence. So she made herself appear the irresistible victim, essentially letting the undesirable elements make her choice of meal for her. It started with her look of course, she had gotten a hold of a sweet little Parisian-print dress and high-heeled strappy sandals that clearly should have given her trouble if she tried to walk quickly. The next step was waiting for nightfall and picking a park that had plenty of places to hide and room enough to not worry about anyone else just casually walking by.
Buena Vista Park was perfect for her needs though she had hoped for a worse area, still she could compensate for the nice area and abundant lighting by doing everything alone at night that mothers told their daughters not to. She walked slow, almost lingering in several spots, all of them a good distance from the street and possible escape routs. She fiddled with her phone, popping a pair of large headphones on, looking as if she weren't paying attention to her surrounding while in truth she was already primed and ready to jump into action. All she needed was someone degenerated enough to attack her, then she would be ready to feast.
