Summary: After hiding out the day after the ball, quite probably nursing a bit of party hangover and quite definitely a snit of jealousy since Harry didn't come home until late the next day, Pansy finally ventures out of her room.
Pansy hadn't felt so bad since the early days of her pregnancy, and it was all the worse because she didn't have anything on hand to stop it. Her head had been pounding far too hard to manage an owl to Draco asking for help, and it was all she could do to ask Hilly for water during the early part of the day. Added to her physical distress was the worry that she had quite likely made a fool of herself at some point during the Valentine's Ball, but she really wasn't sure because there were whole chunks of the evening that she didn't remember.
The whole thing did drive home the knowledge that she needed to restock her potions. Particularly the hangover potion and the sobering potion.
Finally, after an entire day of suffering spent in her room with the drapes drawn tight to keep out the offensive light, and another night's sleep, Pansy was feeling more herself.
Now if she could just figure out what she might have done to embarrass herself.
But she couldn't hide in her room forever. Polly needed her. Or rather, she needed Polly. She needed to spend time with her and to get back into her routine so Pansy showered and put on fresh lounging robes. At least she wouldn't smell like a bottle of Ogden's finest. Then she set out to find her daughter.
