GROUP DELTA GROUP LOG
Who: Group Delta
What: The Raid! Group Delta Arrival Log
Where: Chicago, IL
When: Feb. 11, 1929
Warnings: TBA
Notes: The log is now ready for tagging! Start whenever you like. See Group Delta’s Plot Post for more details! Keep in mind that this post will have comments shut down around this time tomorrow, and is only for tags during the visit to the speak. Any other logs in the following two days are yours to create.

12:01 on Saturday, June 19, Bellum’s tenants should have been asleep in their beds. Some of them, no doubt, were awake, and would have seen the flash that left them standing with fifteen of the building’s other residents, dressed in a period out of the past, in the middle of a party like no other.

Oh, it was a party!

An eyebrow was skewed questioningly when Ileana chirped up with such infinite fucking wisdom, but he didn't look at her. Trenton didn't even shift the cloudy bluegreen of his eyes to Cole when he heard that man as well. He was entirely focused on the silent, staring Shane. Even with as out of it as Trenton was, the quiet was a little unsettling and Trenton eased another step away, this one out to the side.

Clearing his throat a little, and loosening the classy pinch of his tie, he finally looked at the other two. Well, if it wasn't his favorite kidnapper and his favorite elevator companion!

"You look good, Cole." Really, he did. It must have been the new clothes, or the snazzy fix of his hair. Or. "You must be getting laid."

He glanced to Ileana for confirmation, grinning.

After leaving Archer to his thinking and talking to himself, Isobel had worked her way through the crowd, a drink in hand, eyes scanning the people for any other familiar faces. And just like she had thought she had seen him not so long ago, she spied Trenton again, gathered with a group she only vaguely recognized, including the man she had spoken with shortly after appearing.

Squeezing past couples, she made her way closer, still on the edge of their gathered group. "Trenton," she said simply, since it was easy to pick up on the tension growing throughout the group, and it just didn't seem like a wise idea to make a scene, especially when they had no clue what was going on.

I think Mister Wolf is going to maim him, Vasilissa had chirped up helpfully, If you want, I can ask him too. He'd probably do it. As much as that sounded like a good idea, they didn't need the attention coming their way. The quiet anger in Shane's eyes really was scary and completely unsettling.

Ileana didn't even flinch until Trenton started talking. She reached up and pinched the bridge of her nose. That headache was starting to come back, thanks Trenton. "Shut up, Trenton," she managed.

Then the blonde moseyed on up and Ileana struggled to put a face to a name, before it came to her. Oh good, Trenton's number 1 fan and rape apologist was here. What a doll.

If Trenton was smart, he would have kept his mouth shut. The look in Shane's eye was far from reassuring, and the last thing any of them needed was to draw attention to themselves. But of course, he just had to pipe up and cause trouble. Cole was pretty sure he'd still be an asshole even if the building had dropped them in the middle of World War II.

Don't let him upset you, Ichabod advised, but his 'voice of reason' approach was starting to get annoying. Thanks, Dad, he thought in annoyance, ignoring his tale's outraged huff. "In case you haven't noticed, Trenton, we're not quite in Kansas anymore. So if all you're going to contribute is your witty comments, then kindly fuck off." He glanced at the blonde, not recognizing her - but he really didn't care. She was obviously from Bellum, and hopefully smart enough to get Trenton away before Shane decided to rip him apart.

No, if Trenton cared, he would have kept his mouth shut. As it was -- and everyone in this cozy clusterfuck was probably aware by now -- even impending violence wasn't going to keep Trenton quiet. Come on, didn't anybody have a sense of humor anymore?

He lifted his own gin drink for a hearty swig, shrugging almost sheepishly when Ileana told him to shut up. Well, alright, because she asked so nicely. He tilted his head when Cole spoke. Ever the voice of reason, right? Was Trenton catching on correctly? Were they actually trying to make sense of what was going on here?

"I'm witty?" He smiled into his drink, demolishing an ice cube between his teeth as he stood up a little straighter, the good humor glaze in his eyes nearly sobering. "You all are fuckin' hilarious." Trenton gestured briefly to Cole and Ileana, but not Shane, because he wanted to keep his hand.

"Are you trying to gather clues and hypothesize?" His eyes widened, mockingly impressed. "Trying to figure out what's going on here?" The idea was laughable. The building was taking them for a ride into hell, like it always did. There was no figuring it out, no making sense of it, no reason.

"I'll tell you," he dropped his voice sagely. "It's fucking with us. That's the only reason we're here, to be fucked with.." Which wasn't comforting in the least, but Trenton dropped his mouth to his drink again, because he'd obviously embraced it.

"Who gives a shit? We're all probably going to die here--" Hearing his name, Trenton pivoted slightly. Still nursing his drink, his aquatic eyes widened from over the rim of his glass.

You know, she cut off her hair, Dorian chided airily, and Trenton grimaced into his drink with a muttered, "Hey.."

Her jaw was set in a tense line, her gaze sliding past Ilena, Cole, and Shane, and instead settling on Trenton with an unflinching stare. Inwardly, she could hear Rapunzel chastising her for even approaching Trenton (Dorian, Rapunzel corrected) after everything that was going on.

"We're not going to die here. Well, I can't speak for what'll happen to you if you stick around where you are right now." She looked away for a moment, lips pressed in a thin line, then one hand was extended towards him.

Neither Ileana or Vasilissa looked or sounded impressed by Trenton's mocking rant. Ileana just said, "If Trenton wishes to die here, go on and do what you want."

She turned to Cole and quietly tugged at his hand, "Let's go, please?"

Cole shook his head in disgust. If Trenton was fine with sitting back and doing nothing, well, that was his problem. "I don't plan on dying here, but good luck with that."

He nodded, more than happy to get away from Trenton and even his blonde friend - but he wasn't about to leave Shane there to lose control. "Shane, let's go." The sooner they got away, the better.

Shane was on his last nerve when Cole called his name, and he glanced up, blue eyes still blind for a moment before what he said registered. He nodded, once, and turned and walked away from the small group, saying nothing. He had nothing to say to Trenton, and if he stayed around him for another second, he was probably going to end up dislocating his jaw.

Abandoned, Trenton rolled his eyes gently before snatching another drink off of a passing waitress' tray. He took Isobel's offered hand, and linked it through his suited arm as he led her off in the other direction. "Come on, fuck them."

Poetic.

She cast a look over her shoulder at the others as they set off before turning her attention back to Trenton, following him off in the other direction. The drama and tension that was going on, while understandable, was starting to get to those ridiculous levels. Shouldn't people, in this situation, try to put those differences aside?

"Guess their dislike is extending to me now," she said in a voice that was entirely too cheerful for the circumstances, but really, she didn't care.

Isobel's inherent cheeriness made Trenton shake his head, and developing an instantaneous dislike for the drink in his hand, he deposited it on an empty chair as they passed.

"I told you," he offered with a shallow sigh. Not that Isobel should give a shit about being liked by those particular people, anyway, but he imagined to the average person(because Trenton would be the first to explain that he was anything but average), that kind of snarkiness might have stung.

"I guess I'll see you at the execution." Trenton and Isobel, on the Bellum firing range with their cigarettes lit. If it was a joke, it was a poor one. Then again, all of Trenton's jokes were bad.

Her face screwed up just a bit at his joke, bad as it was. "There's not going to be an execution. There's hardly been a mention of the entire thing since it first happened, anyways. Though it appears some people still have issues." She gave a roll of her eyes, looking about the speakeasy for a long while before she glanced up towards Trenton.

"Thought you didn't want to see me," she said, her voice carrying a peculiar tone, a mixture of teasing and something hard to pin down. She wasn't angry, not even a little annoyed. It was hard to think about things like that, feel things like that, when you were stuck in a situation like this.

Some people still have issues? Trenton didn't say anything for a moment as they walked through the speakeasy, refusing to smile at the teasing lilt in her voice when she spoke again.

His own tone wasn't even cautiously low when he sighed to explain, "I killed someone, and I almost killed Boyd.. a lot of people are going to have issues with that." Isobel should have issues with that.

"And we're stuck in some kind of bar and this guy told me that it was 1929. Right now? I think we have bigger issues on our hands than what happened back at the building," she said matter of factly, though that voice in the back of her head had something else to say. He just told you he killed someone! He was the one who upset you during the moon. Why do you go with him?

She scowled just a little, her expression settling into something firmer than she normally 'wore'. "Listen, I know what you've been accused of. I do listen when you tell me what you did, but I..." She trailed off, shaking her head and looking away from him. "Maybe it says something bad about me, but it doesn't bother me." Slender shoulders shrugged, the cobalt blue fabric shifting against pale skin.
