GROUP DELTA GROUP LOG
Who: Group Delta
What: The Raid! Group Delta Arrival Log
Where: Chicago, IL
When: Feb. 11, 1929
Warnings: TBA
Notes: The log is now ready for tagging! Start whenever you like. See Group Delta’s Plot Post for more details! Keep in mind that this post will have comments shut down around this time tomorrow, and is only for tags during the visit to the speak. Any other logs in the following two days are yours to create.

12:01 on Saturday, June 19, Bellum’s tenants should have been asleep in their beds. Some of them, no doubt, were awake, and would have seen the flash that left them standing with fifteen of the building’s other residents, dressed in a period out of the past, in the middle of a party like no other.

Abandoned, Trenton rolled his eyes gently before snatching another drink off of a passing waitress' tray. He took Isobel's offered hand, and linked it through his suited arm as he led her off in the other direction. "Come on, fuck them."

Poetic.

She cast a look over her shoulder at the others as they set off before turning her attention back to Trenton, following him off in the other direction. The drama and tension that was going on, while understandable, was starting to get to those ridiculous levels. Shouldn't people, in this situation, try to put those differences aside?

"Guess their dislike is extending to me now," she said in a voice that was entirely too cheerful for the circumstances, but really, she didn't care.

Isobel's inherent cheeriness made Trenton shake his head, and developing an instantaneous dislike for the drink in his hand, he deposited it on an empty chair as they passed.

"I told you," he offered with a shallow sigh. Not that Isobel should give a shit about being liked by those particular people, anyway, but he imagined to the average person(because Trenton would be the first to explain that he was anything but average), that kind of snarkiness might have stung.

"I guess I'll see you at the execution." Trenton and Isobel, on the Bellum firing range with their cigarettes lit. If it was a joke, it was a poor one. Then again, all of Trenton's jokes were bad.

Her face screwed up just a bit at his joke, bad as it was. "There's not going to be an execution. There's hardly been a mention of the entire thing since it first happened, anyways. Though it appears some people still have issues." She gave a roll of her eyes, looking about the speakeasy for a long while before she glanced up towards Trenton.

"Thought you didn't want to see me," she said, her voice carrying a peculiar tone, a mixture of teasing and something hard to pin down. She wasn't angry, not even a little annoyed. It was hard to think about things like that, feel things like that, when you were stuck in a situation like this.

Some people still have issues? Trenton didn't say anything for a moment as they walked through the speakeasy, refusing to smile at the teasing lilt in her voice when she spoke again.

His own tone wasn't even cautiously low when he sighed to explain, "I killed someone, and I almost killed Boyd.. a lot of people are going to have issues with that." Isobel should have issues with that.

"And we're stuck in some kind of bar and this guy told me that it was 1929. Right now? I think we have bigger issues on our hands than what happened back at the building," she said matter of factly, though that voice in the back of her head had something else to say. He just told you he killed someone! He was the one who upset you during the moon. Why do you go with him?

She scowled just a little, her expression settling into something firmer than she normally 'wore'. "Listen, I know what you've been accused of. I do listen when you tell me what you did, but I..." She trailed off, shaking her head and looking away from him. "Maybe it says something bad about me, but it doesn't bother me." Slender shoulders shrugged, the cobalt blue fabric shifting against pale skin.
