I would like to speak with the person responsible for my incarceration.

[Voice bored.] Yes. I'm waiting for him to run out of ammo.

And yeah. I tried that two months ago. He yelled at me to get out after looking terrified and acting like a meth addict going through withdrawal. I think the people in the medical field would call that "fucked up."

I would recommend calling the police, but I doubt they'd be able to get in. None of his bullets are reaching you, I trust?

[A little pause here. The lady swore. Moriarty has decided she is likely a member of the 'oldest profession' considering her profanity, her violent company, and her apparently horrific coterie of diseases. Not that there's anything wrong with that.] His bedside manner sounds as if it left much to be desired.

[ooc: Omfg Ace his conclusion about her profession makes me laugh SO HARD.]

No, they aren't. [There's another sigh, and a groan.] This is why I shouldn't make friends.

[She laughs.] Yeah, it was definitely...House-worthy. But that's okay. I guess.

Anyway, how're you holding up? Did you luck out and get locked in the kitchen?

((HAHAHAHAHAHA LOOK, SHE SWORE. CLEARLY SHE IS NOT A DELICATE FLOWER. AND HER FRIENDS SHOOT AT HER AND ACT LIKE ADDICTS. WHAT ELSE IS HE SUPPOSED TO THINK. JOANIE, YOU'RE BRUISING HIS DELICATE VICTORIAN SENSIBILITIES))

The man shooting at you is a friend?

Just fine. I am in what appears to be the living room, with a small kitchen in one corner. The floor plan seems...continental.

[ooc: INORITE. I'M SORRY, MORIARTY, JOANIE IS A HORRIBLE BEAST THAT NEEDS TO BE SET ON FIRE. WITCHES ARE CORRUPT.]

Remember how I said that the guy in your apartment is named Jonathan? Well when that guy is his version of "Jonathan," he's my friend. But during these periods, he gets a personality that isn't my friend.

[She pauses, realizing that this sounds borderline retarded.]

That's good. You have supplies, then, so you won't need anything. From what I understand, these things last until the sun rises. So you've just gotta stick it out until then.

((WHORE WITCHES.))

...I'm not exactly sure what you mean. [Because acknowledging there is a presence in his head would be to make it real.]

Good. It is an inconvenience, but if we are guaranteed release then, it is bearable.

[ooc: WITCH WHORES, DUN DUN DUN. WITCHES BY DAY, WHORES BY NIGHT!]

It's. [She pauses, trying to think of what to say here.] Okay. You, Jackson, are not real in this world. The apartment where you're standing exists in a...plane of existence that's outside yours. You, as you so exist, are in a novel. A piece of fiction that somebody wrote. And for these few hours, you're in this other person's body, in his apartment.

[Another sigh.] Does that make sense? Okay, it makes no sense, but it's the truth, I swear. And you will be released, when this is done. You'll go back to... [She trails off, unsure of where the fables go.] Well. Things will be normal when the sun rises.

((They change in brothels instead of phone booths.))

I would suggest that you might be mentally afflicted in some way, but that is no stranger than anything else I've been told this evening. An unsettling idea to say the least.

[ooc: SO FAMILY FRIENDLY! :'D]

[A pause, and though she doesn't sound rageful, her voice is somewhat irritated.]

I understand that this idea is upsetting, but calling me an idiot doesn't help. This is just how things are here. If I knew the secret password to avoid it all, I'd share it with you in a heartbeat.

((I think they're making a ride at disney land!))

You will forgive me if the idea of not being in control of my fate does not appeal to me in the slightest. Nor does the idea of being a figment of someone's imagination written into a paltry novel.

Of course. It's horrifying, I know. Seriously, I can sympathize. I'm green. This is a really weird thing, and I don't pretend to understand it at all. I'm just learning how to get through it.

[Audible surprise.] Witches? Women who supposedly practice the black arts, of which I have never seen any substantial proof.

What, exactly, qualifies you?

I don't really know what you mean. There isn't a "degree in witchcraft," as far as I know. I just...am.

Yes. But it's not that interesting, really, it's the green part that's the most fascinating.

It is certainly out of the ordinary.

Was it a side effect of a spell?

No, it's not. Remember how I said you're a story? Well, mine is...green...so when this happens, I-

[She tries to keep her voice even, but there's a bit of bitterness in it just the same.]

I turn green, just like her. It happened for the first time when I had only been here for like a week, you can imagine how much fun that was.

You're not? [Pauses, trying to figure out how "antiquated" this makes him.] Well, that's not such a bad thing. It's not easy being green.

What literature are you familiar with?
