My sister says she does not have the money, but Daniel seems to feel she does. I asked her to return it if she had it in her possession.

You defend your sister out of hand even though you know what she's like and what she's capable of, and you believe her even though she's proven over and over that she can't be trusted. Then you suggest, what, that I sit idly by and wait for Boyd to be killed because any action I take will be ugly? I don't have another option. If this is what she wants, fine then. She gets it.

	You are letting her win. Don't you understand that? She hates you for almost killing Daniel, and she hates the girl for sleeping with him. She wants to destroy you both, and you're just losing control and allowing it. Think rationally, and we shall come up with something. She has $2 billion in an account that could very well be anywhere in the world. We don't even know what bank she got it from in the first place, and even if we did, when she went to get the money she looked like Boyd so that so we can't prove anything with security camera footage. Boyd does not have months. She has weeks, if she's lucky. If all of those things don't combine to make a desperate situation, I don't know what does. If she doesn't give up the money, I have no other option.

Fine then, so say she's caught. Say she is humanely put into an institution where she can 'get the help she needs.' What then? The money stays in the account no one can find, Boyd gets killed, and Vaughn gets let out on good behavior after a few months of faking.

I am telling you that I see no way out. If you do, tell me, I wouldn't mind suggestions. But so far, all you've said is that I should think it through again when I have been doing nothing but that for the last week. I have looked. It's all that I've been doing. If there was some other way, I would take it, but don't insist to me that I'm just being irrational and some other solution is going to fucking fall out of the sky.

At this point, if it keeps Boyd safe, I don't care what she wins or doesn't win.
