[30 Oct 2021|01:05pm] flapjacks I am going to switch Alexei up because due to recent comic events, I feel it is comfortable changing his CV since it would be a conflict with writing Colossus as he is starting to become more dominant. Mainly, everything is the same except, his cv is going to be Hellboy. His farm is also a Bed & Breakfast which leads to an opportunity for someone to have a side gig on being a chef or concierge for the front. He mainly helps with the farm and enjoys his pancakes every morning. Alexei's hobby also changed to making holy relics that suit his beliefs. [14 Oct 2021|10:32am] forensics after some workshopping and fine tuning, here's barry! no, not the archer android super villain, but barry allen aka the flash! this is andrew allen, 31 years old, graduate of uc davis and criminalist/forensic scientist with the san francisco police department. he's not a cop, he just works with them and make sure they don't go tromping around on the crime scene (even if they sometimes beat him to that point by the time investigators get there... 😒). he was new york born (out of brooklyn) and partially raised until some unintentional snooping brought some of his father's less-than-legal activities to light and resulted in the death of his mother and he got thrown into the foster system and inevitably separated from his twin brother (which, while not common, has happened in some cases). it led to a further divide when he was moved to independence, missouri at age ten, his brother becoming the problem child while andrew became the introverted nerd. he made his way to san francisco in 2008 for college (the aforementioned uc davis) where he studied biology and chemistry before jumping into a forensic science masters program and earning his certification. instead of moving to los angeles where the job market sees more employment in the field, he stuck around san francisco, made a proper move there, and has been around ever since with an ever-widening job experience field considering the super powered nonsense that has been going on since 2018 (so if you have done some crimes, step on up so i can give this guy something to investigate). unlike barry allen, however, this isn't to get his father out of prison as much as it is doing something aligned with his interests. concerning lines, he has a friend, former roommate and fellow new york native in pyroish and - obviously - something to be had with sprint being his comic grandpa (beware, every single restaurant there ever was, for two times the speedster hyper-metabolism), but that is all! friends, exes, flings, coworkers or associates operating in related fields, that friend forever trying to get him on a rollercoaster despite vehement refusal, uc davis alum if there are any, etc. - random connections and brainstorming also welcome! 30 comments|post comment

[14 Oct 2021|01:06am] theredledger hey, bays! long time no see. it’s your resident russian hot mess/dumpster fire with an identity crisis rising from the ashes two years later — i just couldn’t stay away. <3 natalia watson has finally returned to the frontlines, sans one redheaded widow, from an extended quiet period of grieving, healing, and countless unmentionables. she’s 32 now, temporarily living back at home with her parental units (for the final time) and working the desk at the law firm (also for the final time) while she reestablishes herself. talia’s retained her memories of her time with natasha, so the shifting game? she’s well in the know (with the bullet scar and dead fiancé to prove it), but she’s settled into existing as a normal civilian so it seems appropriate that the universe would give her, as a homecoming gift, a new gravelly voice in her head: yelena belova. talia is open/in need of all of the things — old friends, new friends, come one and come all. connections to her ride-or-die, musubi, would be awesome, as would a roomie or more on standby! 23 comments|post comment
