For new arrivals, we don't know exactly why this happened but the fact is, it did. As much as I'm sure you won't like it, you're stuck here for the time being.

The other people who have ended up here are staying at Hotel Monteleone. My name is Sophie Deveraux, and I'm a witch the chef at Rousseau's. Some of you have already gotten jobs. I'd highly recommend the rest of you do the same.

I get that people are a little freaked out right now, but we're doing the best we can. When we know something, you'll know something. In the meantime, I'd advise you to seek employment in the city.

Okay, we still don't really know what's going on here... Well, sort of. But there is a hotel that's agreed to house you wayward travelers for now, until we can figure this out. I understand some of you have already found it. For those who haven't, it's called Hotel Monteleone, and it's on Royal St.

I'm Sophie, and I'm sorry for these circumstances, we're trying to work out what happened...but for now it appears that no one can leave the city. That's not an order or a suggestion, it's the truth. There is some kind of barrier that is keeping people in.

I so didn't need this to deal with on top of everything else.
