Characters: Morgan Parker Darke, OPEN Setting: An exclusive downtown night club Content: Currently worksafe Summary: Morgan only bothered with the most exclusive nightclubs when he went out
Morgan might have been one of the few people who actually liked Monday mornings; he loved going in to work and in all of his years with Alexander Moretti hadn't yet missed a single day, but that didn't mean he didn't cling to his Sunday evenings though. They were the best part of the weekend, the last bit of fun to be had before getting down to business the next day.
He had actually turned down wishes for a weekend getaway from his senator in favor of someone he had met at his favorite country club, a choice that had proven to be quite the mistake when the man had turned out to be a complete and utter bore on top of not nearly as rich as Morgan had originally thought. Such a shame, and a waste of his time, which meant that Morgan was only going to try twice as hard to enjoy what was left of his weekend.
Now here he was, hoping to salvage his Sunday evening. Morgan only bothered with the most exclusive nightclubs when he went out and Ambrosia was just that sort of place, drawing the high class and celebrities like honey.
The high heeled leather boots he was wearing stretched almost all the way to the dangerously short hem of his little black dress, and legs crossed, he idly swung his foot along to the beat of the music, something pale pink and bubbly in the glass sitting on the bar near him. He had far less interest in the champagne and music than the crowd though, his kohl-lined eyes skimming over each person there with calculated, predatory interest.
