Aiden paused for a moment, knowing Sophia meant her words as a compliment but he truly couldn't understand what it was that Moretti saw in him past his looks. Aiden understood that he was conventionally attractive but when Alexander Moretti could have anyone he chose, and his previous romances had been more than conventional in every sense of the word he couldn't figure out what the man saw in him.
"I think so, yes...But I suppose after what I pulled the other day if he didn't want to see me again I could understand." He bit his lip, not wanting to voice his other fear but knowing at some point it would have to come up. "And, you know, being a single parent. Not everyone wants to get involved in that."
