Aiden nodded, relieved that Sophia had said what he'd been thinking. He didn't want to seem unreasonable, and he knew there were a few people who'd think he should be grateful that Danny wanted to play a part in James's life, however a small one but the way the relationship had ended, how everything had fallen apart and Danny had just walked away...It made it so hard for Aiden to think of trusting him.
"You're right. Of course you are. I just don't want this to turn into a long legal battler, but whatever way I should speak to a solicitor about drawing up proper, legally defined visiting hours. If Danny can prove he's really ready to be a father again then we can go from there." He said, feeling more confident as he spoke. He hadn't been expecting Danny the other day, it had come at him from left-field but now he could face this thing head on.
He picked his glass back up, taking a small sip. "I saw Alistair the other day...ended up trapped in a lift with him. I don't want to sound bitter but I can't see why Danny left him for me. He's a right bastard."
