Sophia knew it was just a matter of time before Aiden began appreciating a good wine. Every once in a while she'd bring him something good, so that he could have something to compare. "I was thinking about buying us a little course for your birthday."
She knew she had more money than Aiden - but, hey, she had gone to Med School and was a little older than him. That generally implied a comfortable paycheck. She sipped her wine. "I understand. But you have to see that running our own business doesn't necessarily mean more free time." Frequently, it meant headaches with supplies, costumers, bills and a never ending stress. "I do feel you, though. If you ever need a nanny or anything, you can always give me a call, darling."
"Joint custody?" Sophia lifted an eyebrow. The man cheats on Aiden, never gives the boy a dime to take care of their child and now wants joint custody? What on Earth was that? Had Mother Teresa appeared to him in a dream and told him to grow up? "Now that's a surprise."
