Aiden grinned, picking up his glass and taking a long gulp. It was good stuff, she was right and Aiden might have to cut back if he didn't want to sleep in late the next morning.
"So, how's work?" He asked, stepping into the living room and claiming his spot on the sofa. In a moment or two he'd tell her about the problems, about what he was worrying over but he didn't want her to think he'd only invited her other so she could play agony aunt. He did want to see her, wanted to keep their friendship going now when things had got so much harder.
