Aiden snapped his phone shut, hunting around the kitchen for a few take away menus - pizza, Chinese, Thai - he didn't mind what they ate tonight. Sophia could choose for them.
The living room hadn't been tidied yet; James's toys littered around from where he'd been playing earlier. Aiden was going to have to make sure putting things away became part of James' everyday soon, rather than something his father or Nanny did for him. He sighed, finding the toy box which had moved to behind the sofa for some reason, the building blocks, transforming toys and anything else that belonged to his son going in there.
He settled down on the sofa, waiting for the knock on the door.
