Aw Snap OOC

Hiii everyone, it's Amy, back again with my second character and probably one of the people I get the most into writing - Effie Trinket.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Hunger Games canon, Effie was employed by the Capitol to work as an Escort to the tributes from District 12 - basically acting as a press liaison and manager alongside the mentors. She was, in the past, very in line with the thinking of the Capitol and very willfully ignorant to the atrocities that were being committed against the children of Panem. Her feelings had just begun to truly change when her tribute - Katniss - basically blew up the arena and Effie was taken into custody.

I have done a lot of head-canon writing that can be found in her journal if you want to take a look but basically she's spent the past five weeks or so being tortured for information by the Capitol. At this point she is recovering from a poorly splinted broken leg, and has all but lost her hearing. I'm sure once she's had a bit of time to heal and sleep and probably just calm down a little she'll be back to criticizing everyone within a fifty foot radius but I also think she will be more open to...friends?

Anyway, lines! And if any of you know anyone that plays Haymitch or one of her kids please let them know I'm offering brownies, first born babies, and pretty much anything else they want! I'm not above bribery.

Hello Everyone!

Anne here with a second character, the good Doctor (in her 13th incarnation this time). She's pretty much the same absent-minded, brilliant, and heroic Doctor everyone knows and loves, but more chatty, more empathetic, and certainly more childish than 12. She's coming to these parts shortly after the New Years episode, Resolution (her latest encounter with the Daleks). She had thought she was just taking the TARDIS on a run-of-the-mill joyride, but stepped off and found herself here. And the TARDIS not. So that was new!

Anyway, she's around to help anyone who needs a hand and will be extremely curious about this place and the people in it. Odds are she'll be more focussed on getting to know the locals than getting out right away. She tends to get distracted easily. Let me know if anyone wants a line!
