I do not know how I suddenly arrived here from the prison in Berlin.

The virtual assistant has been very helpful. Although she tells me that access is "restricted" and I must remain in this "designated space."


Avengers. It has been a while.

I am not afraid of harm from you. So did I, and I made many mistakes in the process. People died as a result of what I did. You can say the same.

No, I have been in solitary confinement the whole time.

I have read a post that the Captain is gone away, and I do not imagine Tony Stark is happy now that I am here. But I can say the choice of liquors he has provided for newcomers is sublime.

Are you an Avenger even now? They do not exist as they did before, I imagine.

That's right. I had heard you were taken to a secret prison. It seems you escaped as well. Other than that, I did not hear anything other than a guard mentioning the "blip."

News was not freely shared. I would have liked a radio, at least.

If you are, at least, make certain no one else loses their homeland as we did.

Several of us were, and we escaped. A few of us were fugitives for two years, before Thanos arrived and killed half the universe, myself and many others included. Five years later, we were brought back and defeated him.

I wonder sometimes, if Ultron had not come to recruit my brother and I, if he might have chosen a different city to use for his genocidal epicenter.

Likely. Many other families would have suffered the same loss trying to stop the machine Tony Stark created.

My parents died when my brother and I were ten. I lost him to Ultron. That seems to be more of what I do than anything else, of late. Lose people.

Tried to end the Avengers. It seems that this did not work wherever this is. I am reading a brochure that says it is another universe entirely.

Apparently my counterpart in this world was imprisoned too.

It seems like yes, even if bad is subjective. Badness can be a soft shadow to the total absence of all light.

There are many who had more blood on their hands than I, and with less of a purpose.

My quarrel with the Avengers is lesser now. I avenged my family.

Yes, Mr. Rogers singing his song about neighbors. Always changing from his outside attire to indoor attire. Non threatening. The elbow patches were both functional and yet conservatively stylish.

We had this show on DVD. It was one of my son's favorites.

This was a children's show from a whole other world we did not live in. Sokovia's lessons were harsher and less forgiving, burned into our very beings.
