I'd like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. I'm Dr. Moira Kinross and will be consulting with my colleague, Dr. Banner as well as assisting Dr. Xavier with the reopening of the facility in Westchester.

I would like the opportunity to speak privately to anyone recently arrived from Genosha. I am happy to do so over this network or we may set a time for an in person meeting at your earliest convenience.

Additionally, If I may be of any help, please do let me know.

Appreciate that, I do, but trusting? Kind of hard.

Maybe, though. Maybe. I was there a year. I still can't believe it was that long.

Trust takes time, but most especially having gone through a traumatic experience as you have. You have the right to take all the time you need, just know that there are those who would like to help you.

My colleague, Charles Xavier is a psychiatrist, with a special focus on trauma, including some specialized treatments that can help individuals manage their trauma symptoms. If there comes a time when you feel that might be helpful, please do reach out.

A year is a long time. It must have been incredibly difficult. Surviving and managing to escape shows incredible strength.

That is very gracious - I am sure to take you up on the offer. I mostly want to recover, first, before anything. I loathe broken bones, and i have a few.

Is that so? That might... end up useful.

Thank you - I did not think I would make it.

I'm very glad that you did. If I can bring you anything during your convalescence, please let me know.

I am absolutely no help when it comes to clothes, my taste in clothing is at its best described as frumpled and at it's worst, "absolutely hideous". Apparently, the AI here is quite helpful.

As to something to do, there are quite a few people here who I'm sure would be much more amusing to hang out with than I am. I am as they say, older than dirt. However, if you get truly desperate, I am happy to come by and visit.

I hadn't thought about asking Friday for help there.

I havent' seen people other than someone tormenting me for over a year - even older than dirt, as you say, is a breath of fresh air. You can tell me about the plans for this facility? I admit, for as scared of change as I am, I am curious.

If you’d like company, I’m happy to join you. I think the Americans have a very good phrase to cover my plans for a facility. “Out over my skis”, is particularly apt.

I am literally going nowhere fast - I'm liable to talk to Friday all night otherwise.

I... can't say I have ever heard that phrase - but I'm from the south - all warm, less snow so winter sport phrases tend to go over my head!

To be over one’s skis means to get ahead oneself, making it likely you will fall. I spoke out of turn. Perhaps someday there will be a place where people with extraordinary abilities will find community, however for now we can all be grateful that the Avengers have extended such generous hospitality!

Is there anything I can bring you?

I think that's a great goal to work for - we are taking up a lot of space on them and they really don't need to be this kind to us. They have a lot of things on their plates.

I think I am good on that - I had Friday deliver food earlier. Healing apparently takes a lot of calories because I'm starving.

I haven’t been given the impression that they are running out of room, but I’m not privy to those kind of details. I apologize if I gave you the impression I was.

Calories and lots of rest.

I doubt they are running out of room - but I am also usually on my own - and it's hard to feel like a burden on people who do so much anyway. I guess is what I mean.

It’s very difficult to feel like a burden., that makes sense. It’s probably more difficult for you given that it sounds like you are used depending on yourself.

I have survived, up until last year, on my own wits. Depending on anyone does not come easy - though I admit - I am forced into it. I don't want to hurt anyone on accident and I might.
