Guests are greeted by a trail of rose petals to lead them to the rooftop. With the sun setting, the view across the harbor would be magnificent, and a perfect backdrop to an elegantly displayed table. There are various platters of charcuterie, wine bottles dotting the side tables, and an open bar at the back. Side tables are placed in comforting nooks, and there is ample seating for all.

Smells of various meats cooking on the barbeque waft through the air, and the host himself will be manning one of them. Contrary to popular belief, Thor can cook. After all, a warrior who cannot feed himself quickly becomes thin.

Welcome to all. Thor hopes you all enjoy your evening, and if things become messy, please -- seek your host. He will happily find you a space to relax and wind down if required. The last thing he wants is hurt feelings.

Thor had just come back onto the roof after arranging the guest room for Jane. It'd taken a while to get the room how he remembered she liked it, and he was idly arguing with himself whether this really was a good idea when he stopped suddenly.

His mother. Talking with Jane.

Could this be good? Or bad. He really didn't know. His mother was discretion amplified, and the most respectful person he knew. It should be fine.

Coming up behind Jane, he caught his mother's eye and raised an eyebrow before making his presence know. "Mother. Jane Foster. Lovely evening."

	Well. This was an interesting development. Frigga gave an innocent smile to Thor when he eyed her. She went to him to haul him down so she could kiss his cheek. "Everything is wonderful, my son." Did she kick the goddess of love power up a notch? Maybe. (Replies frozen) (Parent) (Thread)

He smiled down at Jane. "Thank you, but I was not solely responsible for tonight's festivities. My mother prepared the food, I simply cooked it to her exact specifications. In addition, Loki helped me locate the decorations I wanted. It was truly a group effort."

Of course, Loki had made only the briefest appearance, and Thor was left with almost all the hosting, but that was fine. It suited him. "The room is ready, Jane. Please let me know when you wish to retire and I shall show you where it is."

	Frigga smiled at Thor for him acknowledging her efforts, but with the mention of Jane's room she felt it was time to make her exit. "It seems Captain Rogers hasn't tried my apple pie." She smiled to the two. "If you will excuse me." Then before they could even say anything Frigga walked off. (Replies frozen) (Parent)
