Guests are greeted by a trail of rose petals to lead them to the rooftop. With the sun setting, the view across the harbor would be magnificent, and a perfect backdrop to an elegantly displayed table. There are various platters of charcuterie, wine bottles dotting the side tables, and an open bar at the back. Side tables are placed in comforting nooks, and there is ample seating for all.

Smells of various meats cooking on the barbeque waft through the air, and the host himself will be manning one of them. Contrary to popular belief, Thor can cook. After all, a warrior who cannot feed himself quickly becomes thin.

Welcome to all. Thor hopes you all enjoy your evening, and if things become messy, please -- seek your host. He will happily find you a space to relax and wind down if required. The last thing he wants is hurt feelings.

Jane didn't sigh sigh either but her smile did look a little relieved. "Thanks. Turns out there are some scientists who think all it takes is a conversation with me to get an introduction to Tony Stark." She shrugged. Jane wasn't famous but she was famously associated with people who were and dealing with that was part of her life now.

"Speaking of Tony, he arranged tickets with the Mets. Car service to the VIP entrance, then suite tickets. There's food and everything. It's a lot for only two people but it'll stop you getting mobbed by the crowd. Tuesday night against against the Reds. They were around in your day so it's almost like old times."

Of course Tony was the end game for anyone wanting to meet an Avenger. He was the colorful one and had that reputation from before. Steve had always been content to let Tony handle that stuff, but how many of their non-Avenger friends were subjected to the same thing Jane had?

Steve snorted. He would swear that was Tony's gesture of repentance. One of them anyway. "Well, Bucky's here. He might enjoy a game too. Or we could introduce other people to baseball."

	"Sure if you think Bucky wants to go," Jane agreed. "Maybe more people would help, I don't know. Part of the reason I wanted to go to the game," she swallowed nervously, "is it's getting close to the time of year my dad passed. That's why I didn't want to go alone." Steve's smile turned sympathetic. He knew all about losing people. He'd lost an entire generation. "I understand." He reached out to place a hand gently on her shoulder. He gave it a quick squeeze then released it.

"Well, we'll have to keep you busy then." Then he changed the subject. "Bucky will go. He might not want too many people to be there the first time, but he'll go."

	Yeah, he could definitely see why Thor was hung up on her. Not only was she pretty but she obviously had a big heart. "Sure," he said. "I'll talk to Buck about it and get back to you. But even if he doesn't want to go I'll be there." (Replies frozen) (Parent)
