Attack on Plum Island - COMPLETE 6/28/20
Who: Avengers, SHIELD, or Guardians.

What: Taking down a Kaiju farm hidden inside a federal animal testing facility.

Where: Plum Island, New York.

Stage 1: Infiltration - Hope and Bruce are inside the building to help shut off alarms and look through any scientific data. Any SHIELD agents stationed on the grounds or around the outer perimeter are welcome to post in Stage 1.

Stage 2: Attack - This is the main fighting force (Avengers, Guardians) get inside the building and are trying to get underground. They would be fighting guards or soldiers. Anyone trying to escape would be caught by SHIELD agents around the perimeter. Avoiding injuring innocent civilian workers (janitorial staff) or ground level scientists.

Stage 3: 2 Kaiju - Two underground reptilian monsters are set loose and will begin trying to make their way upstairs. Heavy hitters should try to stop them before they escape the facility.

Not In Action:

Tony is not on site. He's calling shots remotely from SHIELD HQ and using satellites and drones to get eyes on what's going on.

Doctor Strange is not on site. He has only opened a portal into the facility, and will open portals for everyone to retreat at the very end.

Nebula didn't have a problem with the portal. She had experienced similar and stranger ways to travel and it was less disorienting than using a teleporter.

Wearing her usual suit with sturdy boots, electric blaster at her side and electroshock batons at the ready, she advanced onto the island's terrain in a crouch, scanning the area for the soldiers and any guards. If any of them saw her, she would present as a fit redhead holding what appeared to be unused flares in each hand. That didn't look dangerous, did it?

Not that she really cared, but it was an advantage to not instantly be pegged as a potential alien with unknown abilities. Equipped with Avenger communication devices clipped to her ear, she murmured, "In place and ready."

	Drax runs into the fray, punching a security guard in the face with a big gray fist. It's not every day that a huge muscular alien comes running out of some fireworks. It's likely the security guard peed himself a little. (Replies frozen) (Parent) (Thread)

Nebula didn't hesitate. Swinging her batons, she launched herself at the security forces, shocking them with electricity and stunning them with blows to the head, knees, elbows. She smiled fiercely. These were her favourite weapons, by far. She'd only reach for her blaster if she couldn't get close enough to her target.

The mandate was to stop them, not kill them, unless absolutely necessary, and Nebula would do her best to follow those orders. If she accidentally shocked any scientists, they would recover.

	A panicked scientist runs into Nebula and shocks himself, falling over onto the ground. Inside the building there are more people to shock into submission. It was probably the safest state for them right now. (Replies frozen) (Parent) (Thread)

Peter isn't really sure what he is doing, but that's okay -- at this point, that's his standard M.O. Blaster in hand, rocket boots strapped on, mask covering his face, he follows Nebula at a distance.

Normally, he'd ignore the downed scientists... maybe it's a good day or something, but meh, he'll pick them up at least so they're sitting. Look at Peter, being all grown up and worrying about other people.

Don't worry -- this will pass fast.

	One of the zapped scientists drooled a little on Peter's hand as she was propped up against a wall. It might be what snapped the straw of kindness over the disgruntled camel's back. (Replies frozen) (Parent)
