Who: Open Thread
What: House Warming Party
When/Where: March 1st in New Asgard

On the surface, it all looks like a perfect day for the party. Thor has ensured great weather, meaning even the backyard is set up with chairs, food and drinks -- and being an Asgardian party, there is no shortage of food or drinks. Actually, maybe be careful which ale you take. Some are for our ..hardier friends.

Someone has taken over the sound system, not sure who, but Spotify is playing some oldies, and if Peter was there, he'd greatly approve.

The hosts are mingling and walking around, smiling and pretending things are great. If you squint though, you might notice that they have somehow become experts at ignoring each other and not being in the same space.

For those that have cleared it before hand, there are bedrooms upstairs that you can use to sleep in. Otherwise, the hosts kindly ask that you remain downstairs.

"You're welcome," Christine started, laughing over Jane's comment about Frozen before widening her eyes. "Oh! No, I didn't buy you this. Sorry, Pepper did. I mean, I totally signed my name on the card but I shop at Target. I have no idea what these things are."

She stuck her tongue out a little bit and grinned. "And New York...well, Metro General is great and that's all I have to say. I have been working like a crazy person lately, like always really, so I barely get to do anything. I go from the hospital, to the clinic, to my place." Christine wrinkled her nose. "Work life balance, what is that even?"

"If it's from Pepper I might not know what it is either but I'm sure it's lovely. I'll have to send a thank you note." Jane took the basket and tucked it away in the corner of the kitchen counter.

"I'm sure I don't know about work life balance. I'm always getting in trouble for it. But you're here now, which is great, and welcome to stay if you need to. Can I get you anything? How is Dr. Strange? Er, I guess Stephen to you?"

Pepper Potts would be one of the few people on the planet who would appreciated a thank you note, thought Christine. If it was her, she would just throw the note away in the garbage.

"Stephen is fine, but don't worry -- I call him Dr. Strange too." Christine wasn't tipsy enough to wink but it was implied. "I mean, I think he's fine. I'm sure he is. Haven't really heard from him in a while. We go through this cycle, you see, where we're together, then we're not, then we're friends, then we're not and at some point we come back around to where we are...and yeah. Is there wine? I could do with a drink." It was the only way to really make sense of this sometimes.

	Jane grimaced a little and before she realized what she was doing, she looked for Thor, finding him with some of their other guests. She looked back hurriedly. "Sounds...complicated," she said. "And yes, there's definitely wine." Jane walked Christine over to the bar. "Watch out for those bottles on the end, that's the Asgardian stuff." (Reply to this) (Parent)
