Sam wasn't going to mention that though, because he didn't know how much Peggy had been told about the future of the organization she helped build and certainly did not be the one to drop that bombshell. There were more than a few files missing from the boxes she had been given to read on, to catch up with where SHIELD was at and their current goals. Peggy noticed immediately but was biding her time before confronting anyone over it. If there was something to be hidden from her, she would rather find it on her own than demand it from someone who didn't wish to share in the first place.

Hydra infecting Shield like a cancer was something she had been vaguely made aware of, but not on the true scale of it. Which was going to end up being a problem.

"Speaking of trying, on my walk this morning I saw an ad for a-" She cleared her throat as if she had practiced saying it so she didn't sound stupid. "A cronut? I think someone is going to need to explain to me the point of that. I've been trying to figure it out and it is completely lost on me."

	Sam laughed. "Don't even bother. It's one of those hipster food trends. They come and go." He'd lost count of how many he'd seen through the years. There was always something new.
