Morgan's eyes lit up at the sight of popsicles, gladly taking a cherry one and began fighting a losing battle to catch the drips.

"She is now that everyone's giving the bottomless pit stuff to eat and doing magic tricks." Tony grinned at Nat, always glad to see her. "Doing ok, even through all the really freakin' weird of this. Sorry about the delay on the dim sum. We're going this month, I swear. If I don't, then you can kick Happy's ass again. Pretend it's me."

She watched Morgan in amusement as she ate her own popsicle then turned her attention back to Tony. "I can only imagine. Having a baby one day then having a toddler that's just about ready to go to kindergarten with no memories of the in between."

"I know firsthand how weird our lives are so we'll get there eventually." Natasha laughed. "I'm not sure Happy would be pleased with either of us if that happened. He might file a grievance at that point."

Yeah, it was a real shock. Morgan seemed bright and talkative and normal. But when asked about what happened between, she only shrugged. It was safe to assume that she didn't know either.

"I try not to think about it, since it's a big fat I dunno. What I do know? Happy can't. My workplace has a whole danger clause thingy. There's....legal paperwork...stuff," Tony said with a smile. He might be a brainiac but legal matters never appealed to him, and he didn't know up for down with any of it. "I'll drop in and snag you, or you can drop out of the ceiling tiles and snag me. Either way, we're going."

Natasha laughed. "Of course. I forgot about that. All contingencies accounted for it seems."

"As much as Morgan would probably find it amusing," she watched Morgan happily nibble away at her popsicle while absolutely making a mess of her face, "I doubt Pepper would. I also feel like you're systems would've been upgraded by now to prevent something like that. But yes, we definitely need dim sum at some point this month before something world ending happens."

"Well, I didn't want to say I'd know you were there and ruin your fun," was Tony's reply, with an eyeroll. But of course, Friday monitored for everything and anything, right down to the slightest heartbeat or breath or stray partial fingerprint. It was a wonder he hadn't downloaded her into his brain. "And don't you mean before the world ending is halted? I think you mean we're gonna stop it if it starts. Yep, none of that end-times stuff."

"Of course. But I'm factoring in all the clean up and letdown from the adrenaline rush we'll be dealing with after. Not to mention the recovery time and making sure our homes are still standing and none of the governments want to take our heads off for something we couldn't help or stop." Natasha rolled her eyes at the thought. They were out there protecting people and trying to do good in the world. She understood the place of governments and politics in putting the veneer of cooperation and mutual agreement on things, but there was a reason she was a spy and why people like her had been useful over the course of all human history.

"Took care of that," Tony said, with a proud smile. "I sued them for violating my constitutional rights as an American citizen by shooting me down with secretly tested missiles and throwing me into the Raft. Without trial. Indefinitely."

Of course, he was on the run for a month, but a good lawyer from Hell's Kitchen found loopholes to argue the case, and the Supreme Court had no choice but to abolish it. Quickly.

"If we tried that with the rest of the world, and heads will roll. But not here. They'll have to rework to amend it, and that's snarled up in Congress right now." He shrugged a little. "For the mess, I started a joint op with the government. Damage Control. They mop up the big messes."

Including any alien tech involved.

Sometimes Natasha forgot just how many resources Tony had at his disposal or how many areas he had some tangential knowledge of that he would deploy with devastating effect. She gave a low whistle. "Quick work. Hopefully the rest of the world forgets about the Accords as fast."

"That's wonderful. Maybe we'll actually have some support out there instead of taking all the damages and losses ourselves." It was about time the government took a hand in things instead of blaming them for everything that went wrong and taking the credit for when things went right.

"Hope so, but there were some countries that got all pissy pants about it still, so...." Tony ended that by shrugging one shoulder, not noticing that Morgan was leaving droplets of melted popsicle on his other shoulder. He'd be grateful that Happy was around and he knew just enough about parenting to bring at least 2 changes of clothes in case there were photo ops.

"Anyway, I'll tell you more about those other hot messes during dim sum," he told Natasha. "Happy and Morgan have some weird pact where they hang out a lot while I'm tinkering with things that go boom and Pep's remote CEOing. I'm pretty sure I can sneak off while they go to a kids museum. Happy looooooves those."

Off in the distance, Happy didn't look too happy. Which was typical.

Morgan did wave at him and Happy waved back, then went back to trying to look like a high security bad ass.

"Go eat anti-Russian things like hot dogs and apple pie for Cap's birthday," Tony said to her. "No more cold soup for you, Ms. Romanoff."

"We need to get that dim sum in before something else happens," Natasha said with amusement. Between the time jump and everything else, a lot of things had fallen by the wayside. She still needed to catch up with Clint at some point.

"I feel like Happy's bringing her all the hamburgers and treats she wants while you're both preoccupied."

She smirked. "What do you think I've been doing? I've ticked off most of everything that's on the anti-Russian list. I think I even have room for a second run through."
