Network Post :: Hawthrone Atreides (NPC Kid -- Future One)
So the icicles are kind of cool (no pun intended, even if it's ice), but they're also kind of weird. One had this neat winter landscape, which I liked seeing since, you know, born and raised in space. Seeing actual snow on an actual ground is such a novelty. But some of the other icicles aren't as nice. I don't know how to describe them, except that they're not pleasant. They made me a bit uncomfortable, and it was kind of hard to pull away. So, I guess, be careful if you go touching or licking icicles? But maybe not lick them because that's not sanitary and no one needs to freeze their tongue to an icicle.

December 27 -- 🧊 - Icicles have started forming in odd places around the ship, and each one creates strange illusions when touched. Some show peaceful winter landscapes, others reveal eerie visions, and a few might show hints about the ship’s mysteries or your character’s future. But be careful—the longer you stare, the harder it is to look away.

That's just asking for some sort of exotic disease. Or HPV.

Not to mention a lot of judgement and the knowledge that that rule is in place because of you. And the explanation of why that rule exists always coming back to you.

That's the sort of infamy one should want to avoid. But who knows. Some people probably chase after it on purpose just because they can.

Probably. Some people are weird. Which I know you know because you've known me for forever.

You're only a little weird. And mostly unique.

I don't know if that's a compliment or not

Thanks, Sloane
