Network Post :: Hawthrone Atreides (NPC Kid -- Future One)
So the icicles are kind of cool (no pun intended, even if it's ice), but they're also kind of weird. One had this neat winter landscape, which I liked seeing since, you know, born and raised in space. Seeing actual snow on an actual ground is such a novelty. But some of the other icicles aren't as nice. I don't know how to describe them, except that they're not pleasant. They made me a bit uncomfortable, and it was kind of hard to pull away. So, I guess, be careful if you go touching or licking icicles? But maybe not lick them because that's not sanitary and no one needs to freeze their tongue to an icicle.

December 27 -- 🧊 - Icicles have started forming in odd places around the ship, and each one creates strange illusions when touched. Some show peaceful winter landscapes, others reveal eerie visions, and a few might show hints about the ship’s mysteries or your character’s future. But be careful—the longer you stare, the harder it is to look away.

It might be! Kind of like the snow globes! But like the snow globes they got kind of hard to look away from. Like it didn't want you to stop looking. So just be careful or don't look alone? Have a friend around to pull you back just in case.

That's excellent advice. There was a mirror back home that had a similar effect... Or at least that's what my uncle told me once. To be careful and not lose myself in any mirror I pass.

There are so many beliefs when it comes to mirrors, even non magical ones. They're probably based in some form of truth for some of them. And I think I've read about that mirror before. Or one like it. Either way, I think that one would just show my a very elaborate library. And maybe Probably.

I have a feeling about what that one would show me and it doesn't mean anything good. But I know that about myself, at least.

Are you wanting to take over the world?

Not... completely? I am far too bossy to be trusted with many types of power, though.

Just what you'd call your world then? I don't know. I always think bossy is one of those words people use when they can't handle people who know what they want and know how to lead. It's kind of like how people say "interesting" when they can't find a nicer word or don't like what they're being told or what they see. But kind of the opposite because "interesting" is a false attempt at being nice and disengaging from that particular conversation piece.
