Network Post :: Hawthrone Atreides (NPC Kid -- Future One)
So the icicles are kind of cool (no pun intended, even if it's ice), but they're also kind of weird. One had this neat winter landscape, which I liked seeing since, you know, born and raised in space. Seeing actual snow on an actual ground is such a novelty. But some of the other icicles aren't as nice. I don't know how to describe them, except that they're not pleasant. They made me a bit uncomfortable, and it was kind of hard to pull away. So, I guess, be careful if you go touching or licking icicles? But maybe not lick them because that's not sanitary and no one needs to freeze their tongue to an icicle.

December 27 -- 🧊 - Icicles have started forming in odd places around the ship, and each one creates strange illusions when touched. Some show peaceful winter landscapes, others reveal eerie visions, and a few might show hints about the ship’s mysteries or your character’s future. But be careful—the longer you stare, the harder it is to look away.

I mean physically looking into it, not studying it, because it does sound like something that should be studied.

That's how I took it! It probably needs to be investigated by people who can investigate it. Maybe it's tied to those snow globes from earlier this month!

It's very possible, that would make sense.

I'll leave it to people who know how to figure that stuff out.

Fair enough.

I couldn't make sense of a lot of it but some seemed to be about the ship and some could be about the future and some just seemed like a kaleidoscope of strange things I can't describe.

Hmm. Perhaps you should try and write it down, at least what you can? In case it is useful to someone?

I can try to do that, yeah! That's a good idea, Mom. Thanks!
