well. it's certainly different. no one is going to believe me though, when i tell them.

at least the stars are closer.

speaking of, i wonder if anyone else has looked into the magic of time and spacial distortions? i suppose now i'm closer to it, it'll go easier. but in lieu of tomes, discussion may benefit that as well.

oh. hello.

[room cr114; christopher pike]
we're sharing quarters, i believe. hello. none of my companions ever made complaints, so i'm sure we'll get along.

what kind? the shielding kind, or the armor kind? and what do you mean with charms?

Shields, hexes, jinxes. We don't have a spell for armor, though maybe we should try to come up with one. It'd be dead useful.

Charms -- they're spells that impact objects, people, or the atmosphere around you. So if you wanted to make it snow, or turn someone's hair purple. Lots of defensive spells are actually charms -- like the one you use to freeze someone in place. It's a charm, but effective in a fight.

i know of at least four, so i can help there. however to start it'll depend on what you're drawn to, ice or storm. i started with ice, but that was convenience, not necessity. the fourth one can be a bit draining but it's not insurmountable.

different names i suppose, as freezing people is easy enough. i've never turned anyone's hair purple though. now i wish i had. it would have been funny.

Hm. I don't know. That's never something I've thought about. Though ice seems the wrong answer somehow.

Certainly. I've met people who can do similar things but call it something else or use a different method to accomplish the same thing.

It was definitely one of the funnier experiences during a class. My friend Luna had neon green hair for the better part of the day.

there are no wrong answers, really. i can show storm armor though, and we can work from there.

if he'd had hair, i imagine valthek would have looked amusing with green hair. oh well.
