Who: Synthesis OT Wild Child
When: 2pm, Thursday, Feb. 26. 2009
Where: Mutants only Cove!beach
What: Thinking and hoping for an answer
The beach was not a usual place for Aidrian to go. Sea scented air reminded him too much of Ireland, except that it was not the same. But uncertainty warring with hope had spurred him to leave his room on the few hours of freedom and seek something as close to wild or home as he could find. Clouds played hide and seek with the sun, shifting the color of the ocean from glittering blue to steely gray and back again. The sand was fairly warm beneath his feet, shoes dangled one hand as he moved leisurely along the tide mark. The possibility of the meeting Kyle had suggested was a constant murmur in his thoughts. Afraid to hope but a flicker of it came to life nonetheless.
His owner had been preoccupied of late, and would likely not mind loaning him out with the right cover story. It was his twin's that he worried about. He knew enough to know that Hellcat went nowhere unguarded, and rarely anywhere except a training session or the arenas when not locked in his room. Red Block was not a place Aidrian had a reason to be, so he'd never found an easy way to get in there. Doubt still plagued him about whether Kyle's suggestion could even happen. Despite the other male's attitude, Aidrian could not allow himself to trust the blond's owner without meeting him. Why would a human help two mutants that did not belong to him meet each other? Especially when one had so deadly a reputation. Deadly and as far as he could see, deserved. The memory of the past weekend replayed endlessly. On a chance coming out of the owner's box, Raksha had been brought out of the holding cell exit. The intensity of those golden eyes as they focused on him had been seared into his brain. He had a sinking feeling, that whatever happened would be like being hit by a hurricane, whether good or bad.
