Who: Forge and Mist
When: Friday, July 17th, late afternoon
Where: Outside, near Blue Block/Underground entrance
What: Forge is avoiding Shy and runs into someone interesting
He had to get out of that lab. He had to get outside. Granted, Shy had speakers hidden all around the island and could still nag at him, but the reclusive mutant was quite paranoid. He seemed to hate for his voice, even the distorted, computerized voice he usually used, to be heard. As a result, the outdoors was the best escape from the currently panicked mutant. Forge had a pounding headache and far too much work to be done.
Quickly, he snatched up his dark glasses, blueprints and a notebook and headed out. A Tshirt framed his solid form, comfortable jeans on his lower half as he trekked out of the Revolve Underground and into the sunlight. Hey still had an hour or so before sunset, plenty of time to get himself settled and get some real work done. Being outside would help a great deal, as much as he loved the plants and the images piped into his lab, there was just nothing like the real thing. He moved to the nearest tree and set himself down, quickly sorting his items. He was set up for work a few moments later, blueprints spread out and weighed down with rocks to prevent them from blowing away and his notebook in his lap as dark glasses shielded his intense eyes from the tropical sun.
He took in a deep breath to settle himself, a moment to enjoy the beauty of the island. It really was a paradise, he could see why the elite flocked to this place. Forge did not especially appreciate the arenas or fights, but at least the island offered a beauty of its own. One metallic finger pressed his sunglasses further up his nose as he began working, sketching out plans and making notations as he went. He had changes and improvements to suggest be made as the Blocks were rebuilt, and he had a limited window of time in which to draw up and present them. Hopefully the fresh air would help stop his head from pounding so badly.
