Running. Hiding. Mourning. These had been the things that she had been doing ever since that fateful evening when she lost her beloved husband. The vampire hunters that killed her husband were now after her. They want to kill her like how they killed her husband. And right now, she was getting tired of running and hiding. She sat on the bed in the hotel room she and her husband rented when they arrived in London. Her fingers fiddling restlessly on the hem of her dress. The sun was setting down, soon, the hunters would be out, looking for her.
Taking a deep breath, Lilith pushed herself up from the bed and moved to step outside of the room. This has to end now. If they want her, she'll come to them. No more hiding. No more running. She moved a hand to touch the wedding ring on her finger, her fingertips brushing over the diamond in the middle. The heels of her shoes made a soft clicking noise against the tiled floor of the hotel's hallway.
The chill inside of her was enough to make her shiver. Lilith stepped out into the cool evening air, her eyes lifting to the darkening sky. The soft hues of purple melding with the oranges and blues. Normally, this is a beautiful sight for her but right now, it only brings sorrow to her. Lilith let out a soft sigh, her feet leading her down the sidewalk. She knew that it won't be long before the hunters find her. It was just a matter of minutes.
As she reached the quieter part of the town, she could already tell they were closing in. She could smell them. Hear them. She would never forget the smell of the hunters that killed her husband. She stopped by an alley, standing in the dark and waiting for them to come to her. Eventually, the hunters appeared, surrounding her. Lilith said nothing and just waited for her fate.
