Sticky Sweet (Kingdom Hearts, Sephiroth, Cloud)
Title: Sticky Sweet
Author: GW Katrina
Rating: PG
Warnings: None
Word count: 217
Prompt: Feb 3- Kingdom Hearts, Cloud, Sephiroth: connections - Cloud as Sephiroth’s darkness
Summary: Sephiroth thinks.
A/N: So very, very sorry this is so late. RL is a bitch.

In at way, it was gratifying to know that, no matter what else happened, he would never be alone.

Even when Cloud was his most confusing, when he refused to leave those who he remembered when he had still be human, Sephiroth knew that there would always be the ties between them. There could be no other way. Not when they shared such a vital part of themselves.

He didn't know what the scientists had been trying, but he knew it had failed horribly. That it had been something to do with removing his darkness.

It had worked.

It was why he followed Cloud as he had. They were not Nobodies, not like the ones that had followed. But they were something other than Heartless as well.

For a long while, Sephiroth had thought he was the only one.

Then Cloud had left the corridors between worlds, and he had felt the other, a rich, thick pulse that seemed to echo his own missing heartbeat. A wave of sticky, sweet darkness that was more Sephiroth than not.

A connection.

So Sephiroth began to follow. He would have the other again, one day, and they would be more than than their pieces.

It sent a shiver along his wings to think of the power they would have then.
