Summary: Leon gets to meet one of Sora's new friends.
A/N: This isn't nearly as long as I wanted, but work has been...fun lately. Sorry about that.

For the people of Radiant Garden, it was one thing for Sora to visit. They were used to that, and Leon shamelessly got the boy to help the rebuilding efforts.

This time, however, the older man could only stare as Sora bounced in, talking exuberantly with someone that was grinning almost as much as the kid.

"Leon!"

He'd been spotted.

Sora bounced over, the other man loping along right behind him, and Leon frowned. Something about that outfit.... And that sword.

It was the sword that made him realize that the outfit the newcomer wore was similar to what Cloud used to wear.

"Sora," he said calmly, watching as Sora and the other stopped in front of him, both grinning widely.

Oh, gods, no. Not another one. The world could only take another one. Oh god, the amount of sheer bouncy optimism that radiated off of them was going to make everyone either flee, or attempt to be just as -perky-.

He already knew who would go what direction, too.

"Leon, this is Zack. We ran into each other on a world called Gaia." Sora rocked, energy levels still high.

The Zack person, who had hair that would rival Cloud's in sheer spiking, grinned as well. "I hear you guys have a pretty cool world here." Leon could feel his urge to flee rising already. Then the smile took on an edge. "And some decent fighters. Maybe we can spar sometime."

Okay, maybe this wouldn't be as bad as he thought.

Then Sora went into a complex story about assassin weapons being used as prank items, dead people, and other Clouds and Sephiroths, and Leon went back to wanting to flee.

This was going to be a long visit.

And here's was hoping they didn't both end up meeting Tigger.

	laughs This was my prompt, and I am thrilled. You captured Leon's sense of carefully-hidden terror and desperation well. Sora and Zack's combined bounce is wonderful, as is that edge that Zack has underneath the bounce and optimism. ...and now I want to see Sephiroth and/or Cloud being faced with the two of them combined as well. snickers at the thought (Reply to this) (Thread)

	I'm glad you enjoyed it. Leon is a fun pov to write from, and he is so confused about what to do, because there are some people that this pair should -not- be introduced to. Like Aerith. Or Yuffie. And I get the feeling there would be dotting. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Lots and lots of dotting. And bits of emo and angst, mostly from Cloud, but also from Sephiroth, if slightly more reserved and dignified. Because yeah, that's Zack.

Also, the moment that Aerith meets up with them and says, "Hey, I used to date him!" I can see Leon deciding that he's long overdue to take a nice long vacation away from Radiant Garden. Especially before they meet up with Yuffie as well.

I was grinning all the way through and then you got me snickering out loud with the last line. Poor, pooooor Leon.

...Though I think the one I'd really feel sorriest for is Ansem/Xemnas/whatever-he-was-calling-himself-this-week. Nobody would stand still long enough to let him get away with his angsty-supervillain bitching and moaning. And they'd decide he needed a hug. No way to hang on to your supervillain cred when you're getting glomped from all directions -- and, horror of horrors, noogied in the bargain. XDDDD

	LMAO. Though Yuffie isn't nearly as hyper in KH, I think. I love that chika, not quite sure why, but it always makes me sad when I find fans who can't stand her. next to Cloud, she was the PlayArts figure I was determined to buy in my first round. =p (Reply to this) (Parent)
