Arbas OOC

All right, everyone. I really don't know how to paint this in rainbows, so I'll just say it.

I'm stepping down as mod of Arbas al Uat, and I do so assuming that means the game will end.

I can't apologize enough for this. In creating this RP I made a promise to give everyone a fun and dynamic place to play, but I did so without realizing the dedication required, or acknowledging my own flightiness.

I think you are all wonderful, and it's been both fun and an honor to have you here. I'm touched so many people came to something of my design. But while I love creating things, I am terrible at the follow up, which I am sure you have all noticed by now. I could cite various other responsibilities, but it boils down to a lack of will. And for that I'm honestly sorry, because I haven't provided what I've promised, and I do not believe I would continue to do so in the future. I just don't have the stones to be a mod-mod, and after RPing for so many years I've learned exactly why I'm better off staying as just a player.

If anyone wants to take over the game and try your hand at it, and if everyone wants to continue playing here under their modship, I will happily give the hat to you. I'll also happily tell you everything I had planned, plot and world design wise. But understand I'm not saying I need someone to help me run the game, it would have to be someone (or someones) who would be willing to run it themselves.

But assuming the above does not take place, and assuming we are ending things here, I hope you all can forgive me for failing to deliver. Most of you I know from Sabra and will continue to play with, but for those of you who don't, you may want to consider apping there. It has similar mechanics, most of the people you know in this game, and is much more active and better run.

Anyway, regardless of what anyone does from here, I hope you go forth and have fun. And once again, I'm sorry for this.
