Savage Garden: An Active Neverland RP Unwanted, unloved -- these are apt descriptors for the boys and girls who come to live in Pan's Treehouse. Promised a better life and a family of sorts, their unknown role is as pawns in a centuries-long war between a band of unruly youths and a legion of undead pirates. Peter Pan is their prince in this war, and his Lost boys play the role of his generals, sworn to protect the imaginaries in their charge. In exchange for this protection - as well as everlasting life and the love they were once denied - they are expected to fulfill the terms of the blood oath: whenever a Lost needs or desires, an imaginary must allow him to feed. A small price to pay when darkness looms ahead. |

THE NEXT GENERATION
Exactly ten years have passed since the last Sorceress War. Not only have Squall Leonhart and his team gone on to become public figures in their respective fields of expertise, but the world itself has flourished. Esthar, the once reclusive technological marvel, lowers its cloaking devices in a show of faith to the rest of the world; the absence of Deling City's once tyrannical stronghold over the Galbadian continent allows the passion for transportation and telecommunication to make their triumphant return. A formerly sparse world map sees the reconstruction of towns desiccated by the strains of military occupation, and new settlements seem to pop up overnight.
People, however, are never far from conflict. Vinzer Deling was by no means the only man hungry for power, and the last decade has given rise to countless others poised for global domination. Religious zealots known as Hyne's Descendants decry the use of magic and Guardian Forces by those unworthy, and are rumored to have found ways of tampering with natural draw points to poison its users. Finally a group of concerned citizens, calling themselves Cultivators, advocate for the reformation or complete dismantling of Balamb, Galbadia and Trabia. In the absence of a Sorceress threat they are convinced Garden is but a breeding ground for trained mercenaries at the beck and call of the highest bidder.
Of course, those closely affiliated with the Gardens know that its services are needed now more than ever. A changing world leads to civil unrest, and there are fires big and small to be put out. Their mission statement may have begun with the protection of innocents against Sorceresses, but it certainly hasn't ended there. Our story carries on and the state of the future is still yet to be determined.

junctioned is a Final Fantasy VIII game set ten years after the fall of Ultimecia. It centers around Balamb Garden's staff and student body, with opportunities for further characterization elsewhere. We allow canon FFVIII characters, characters from other Final Fantasy games that can be edited to fit the setting, and original characters.

When Eve took the infamous bite of the Forbidden Fruit, not only were she and Adam banished from Eden and forced into a world where they were unprotected, the gates to the supernatural realm were opened. Rather than lurking in the shadows, supernaturals flooded the earth. Deeming themselves the superior race, the supernaturals enslaved the humans, forcing them to bend to their whim in every way imaginable. Thousands of years passed before the humans had had enough and banded together to fight back. The war spanned centuries, and in the end, the humans were defeated. Impressed at how valiantly the humans had fought, The Council made a deal with the humans. Instead of enslaving the entire human race, a lottery would be held. The humans would be free to live their lives however they wished. Between the ages of 16 and 30, though, they would be entered into the lottery, and if chosen, they would be sold into slavery, their possessions as well as their bodies becoming the property of whoever bought them. The humans balked at the idea, insisting that the supernaturals be entered into the lottery, as well. That notion was vetoed, of course, but The Council suggested a compromise. Though they were unwilling to enter ALL supernatural beings into the lottery, they were willing to enter some of the lesser supernatural races. The humans, still greatly outnumbered, were forced to agree. Through the years, the system has been edited. For the most part, though, the system has remained the same. This is the start of your story. Will you be a master? A slave? Apply and enter the world of 4bidden. |
