With 52.4% of the vote. Worksafe (sidebar) is the defacto winner and is now the default scheme on InsaneJournal. This really brings IJ into the future. In addition we have removed access to most of the older schemes. We have left 'New Tweak' for those of you who liked the previous scheme, and 'Lynx' for you who prefer the lightweight schemes.

We are also working hard on a new way to display the ads so they will no longer be a hindrance to the site schemes. We hope to have this rolled out by the weekend.

Once agian, I want to send a warm round of applause to the [info]ij_siteschemes crew and [info]branchandroot for all of their help in getting these new schemes up and running!

Edit: We pushed out some new stylesheets. This should help some of you with the font size issues.

    sorry to bother you with all my questions but do you guys have any idea yet when you're going to fix the bug where all the comments keep disappearing?

    Why are you commenting to answer simple questions when there are people complaining about abuse reports and people losing comments? What happened to fixing bugs on Sundays? You're really dropping the ball here.

      i agree i've lost comments to entries in at least 3 journals- this one has lost comments to 3 entries already, and i know of a few friends that have had their entries lose comments too.

    I really love these muted colors, they are so much easier on the eyes. Thanks for the side bar. I really hate drop down menu's. You have my thanks and appreciation. Applause!

    Is there any way to fix the HUGE gap between the original post/comment and the new comment form? A lot of us who roleplay like to be able to see what was previously written when we respond. It's annoying to have to keep scrolling up and down.

    Is there is reason for the site timing out/slowness? I keep getting white pages everywhere and things are generally just taking forever to load.

    i've lost the comments to THREE entries in this journal now, can you please start looking into that problem seeing as a lot of people are experiencing it and it's not even under the "known issues" on the site? i don't even see a point in updating on this server if you're just going to lose all of the comments you get to your entries and it seems a lot of people feel that way. please at least try to listen to problems your users are having and work at fixing them.

    I'm pleased with the new site schemes, but before you go into making the ads look nicer, could you please:

    1) take care of these Abuse reports?

    2) deal with comment rot?

    Is there a reason why pages aren't wanting to load all the way, all of a sudden? I keep having issues with my pages loading beyond the New Tweak header, and the drop down menu bar. The menu itself won't load, nor will the rest of the page.

    I keep going to my asylum s_t_a_r_s and going to the calender to get to posts and they are not showing up, they also are not showing up for several of my other RP journals. Then some are showing but all the comments are gone. From the looks of it I have lost EVERYTHING in my asylum, and thousands of comments.

      Now most of the post are back, bit there are still like five posts that have lost all their comments. Why are these posts disappearing and re-appearing like this?

    sorry if this has been asked already but i just registered and validated this account but i get a "server not found" error every time i try to view the profile, friends page, and main entries. i was wondering if anyone knows what's up with that and/or how to fix it? thanks!

    Since the new sitescheme, I have been unable to change out of worksafe into Lynx. Even when I go to vewing options, I have Lynx selected but i's still Worksafe. I need Lynx to work for my phone.

    Other journals I have with Lynx selected before the change are fine with using Lynx.

    So I love worksafe.... and there are a ton of comments on here so please excuse me if this has already been asked.

    Can we please get Verdana instead of Times New Roman as the default font for this sitescheme? Times New Roman is ugly. :(
