New sitescheme
With 52.4% of the vote. Worksafe (sidebar) is the defacto winner and is now the default scheme on InsaneJournal. This really brings IJ into the future. In addition we have removed access to most of the older schemes. We have left 'New Tweak' for those of you who liked the previous scheme, and 'Lynx' for you who prefer the lightweight schemes.
We are also working hard on a new way to display the ads so they will no longer be a hindrance to the site schemes. We hope to have this rolled out by the weekend.
Once agian, I want to send a warm round of applause to the ij_siteschemes crew and branchandroot for all of their help in getting these new schemes up and running!
Edit: We pushed out some new stylesheets. This should help some of you with the font size issues.

Is something wrong with email notifications?
The actual entries, if you have a table or a centered list or anything in fact, once it goes past the banner ad it shifts further to the left, disrupting everything.
It's driving me crazy.

I don't understand why IJ has to use the browser default, most websites actually HAVE a stylesheet and it's never been a problem, so why is it suddenly a problem for IJ? I'd rather the site have a consistent layout than it being different for every person because of their settings, and it's bad business to just say "change your browser's font size!!" just for IJ and then having to change it back when using google or whatever. Why can't there just be one font style and size used for this place?
You said before it was for personal reasons to have it like this but you never actually went into it and I don't think it's fair to us paying users (yes, I've bought permanent accounts and such) to be told "change YOUR settings if YOU don't like it" because this font size is not even standard.
I mean I'm not saying have it at 8pt but LiveJournal has Verdana set at a reasonable size I don't see why it's being made into such a big deal to do that here.
Also, I paid for a self-committed account a week ago, it didn't upgrade, nor has anything happened since I opened the support request. I'm still on a free account.
If I rename a journal to a journal with a paid account, will the paid account transfer over?
I've noticed a new error, however; it's making random icons that have transparency borders (nothing fancy; a 1 pixel border in .GIF) very blurry and.. no longer transparent. As if the icon was somehow resized from 100x100 to 96x90. =|
