The Collection


What makes a person special? Who decides what is and what isn't special? What one person deems special, others deem unimportant. Some people stand out for the things they achieve in their lives. Some are noticed for their beauty. Some have special talents. Others are special in that they don't stand out at all. Who are worthy of being collected and who are not?

The Collection is an Anime PanFandom sandbox RPG. Characters from all anime fandoms have been gathered together to form the ultimate collection on an Island that is all their own and one they cannot escape from.

No one really knows how they managed to get to the Island. More importantly, no one knows why they were brought there in the first place. Upon their arrival, each character wakes in a room of their own within the city, a collection of their belongings with them, and what appears to be a travel brochure for the Island. Is this a virtual world? Or the real world? There are no logout menus. No life bars. No other instructions or explanations are offered. Does that prove reality over virtual? The questions continue to pile up with little to no answers to dispel the confusion. There is nothing but the vague welcome of the unknown drifting through the air.

The last hope for the Goddess.



Toto, this doesn't quite seem like Kansas anymore. The island is far from the world you remember. This isn't your home, this isn't even Earth from as far as you can tell. But why? How did you get here? It seems the whims of an unknown and forgotten goddess has decided that she needed your help, dragging you from your world and timeline and placing you on an island that is about to die. Welcome to Goddess’ Island, where the world is ending and you are its savior.

The island is clouded mostly in darkness but there is a spot, a beautiful valley, that is still flourishing. That is where you find yourself when you wake up. But you’re not alone. There are others stuck on the island just like you and if you’re lucky the goddess didn't just steal you away, but friends and family you know as well. Let's also not forget the creature that you bond for life with. Best idea though? Make friends, powerful friends. Make sure there are people to watch your back because when the God attacks, you're going to need every little bit of help you can get.

Premise

Since the beginning of time the written word has held power beyond imagination. Stories shaped the world we live in today and in truth they still continue to do their job. There have always been those that could use the written word to bend the world around them to their will. Some call them witches, some call them silver tongues and some call them demons, but these individuals can use their abilities to bring the written word to life. Due to the prejudices of the others in the world most of these special people made the choice to hide their abilities. Then one little girl came along that would change things for these special people forever. Her name was Lily and she wanted the world to see her gift for what it was....a way to help people and to create new life. Eventually she learned that some people would never see things the way she did, so she decided that instead of changing this world she would just create her own.

She read every book she could, planning her world to perfection. Finally she chose to create a world out of her favorite role-playing game.. She chose a location deep the Amazon Rain Forest and then she began to read out loud. Piece by piece the world began to take shape until finally the entire kingdom of Vecna was right in front of her. This was a world all her own and she took the throne, ready to make it everything it should be. Her first mistake was allowing other silver-tongues to come live in her kingdom. A faction arose that wanted to take control and they begin to read characters out of books that they knew would cause strife, so Lily was left with no choice she began to read out her heroes and massing an army of her own.....

The playground of the forgotten goddess.



Toto, this doesn't quite seem like Kansas anymore. The island is far from the world you remember. This isn't your home, this isn't even Earth from as far as you can tell. But why? How did you get here? It seems the whims of an unknown and forgotten goddess has decided to make you her plaything, dragging you from your world and timeline and placing you on an inescapable island. Welcome to Twisted Island, where anything can happen and it usually does.

The island changes with the mood of the goddess. It’s her playground and you are one of the very many toys in it. But you’re not alone. There are others stuck on the island just like you and if you’re lucky the goddess didn't just steal you away, but friends and family you know as well. Best idea though? Make friends, powerful friends. Make sure there are people to watch your back because when the island starts to change, you're going to need every little bit of help you can get.

Will you survive, or will you give up and break under the pressure? Apply and become one of the many playthings that the goddess loves to toy with on Twisted Island. Only canon characters are allowed. The game will start May 10, 2015. Go check out the Wanted Characters or Holds page and get your application in!
