The Doctor stepped into his TARDIS, locked on to Clara's location, and set the temporal coordinates, then flipped the lever to activate the time controls. The TARDIS dematerialised and set into flight.
After what, for the Doctor, would have been a few minutes, but for Clara an hour, the TARDIS rematerialised outside Clara's house.
