PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO BE INTRODUCED THIS WEEK

LONDON - While the Minister's cabinet and the Department of Magical Law Enforcement continue to work diligently to rectify the damage caused by Death Eaters in muggle London last week, the Wizengamot conducted it's final meeting this morning regarding new legislation proposed by Minister Rodolphus Lestrange's government. The first bill will be made public this Friday, and a vote will be carried out early next week. Minister Lestrange has stated that new legislation, as it is introduced, is designed to work as effectively as possible with the government restructuring.


MARCHWOOD RELEASED FROM ST MUNGO'S

LONDON - Former Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic, Lyle Marchwood, was released from St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies today after an extensive visit following a magical explosion in a Wizengamot court room two weeks ago. Healers say that Mr Marchwood is in fine form, and will likely be able to return to his Wizengamot obligations within the week.
