Group Comment Thread (incomplete!)
Who: Lord Voldemort, OPEN to Amycus & Alecto Carrow and Fenrir Greyback
When: Sunday, March 16 1980; late evening
Where: Voldemort'd current lair (of sorts), then off to Otis Wilde's senior undersecretary's house for a bit of fun and games
What: Voldemort needs a foot in the door to the ministry before Millicent Bagnold is appointed to office. The Carrows and Fenrir are recruited for a bit of terrorizing and such.
Rating: TBA, but nothing good
He had yet to give the Carrows much authority in the realm of of carrying out his many wishes and whims, but suspected that, with the added influence of Greyback, they would effectively complete this venture. Some of his inner-circle may think him foolhardy (though daring to say so was another matter entirely) for planning to entrust such a vital move to three near... novices, at least where persuasion and control were concerned. Something told him, however, that Lyle Marchwood would need little persuading. These three had earned their time, and the Carrows and Greyback would have the entire pathetic Marchwood family to enjoy before his task needed completing. No one could say that The Dark Lord did not reward those loyal to him, loyal to his cause; those who served him well. He needed the ministry while Wilde still maintained his pathetic excuse for control, before Bagnold could step up and--with Dumbledore's muggle-loving assistance, no doubt--prevent any potential opportunity for him to seize control for quite some time. He needed the ministry; he wanted it now.
He had summoned them a moment ago and sat poised, waiting, eager for their reactions to his confidence and generosity. The humble, giving Dark Lord. The renown and admired. The envied. He smiled slyly and pressed the tips of his fingers together.
