Heidi smiled softly, but said nothing. She knew that she would have to confront her two best friends eventually to find the real truth behind things. She hoped it wouldn't ruin their friendship.
Smiling more genuinely and softly as they fell back on the bed, Heidi held Tracey protectively. It really did seem like sometimes it was them against the world. She hoped that would pass.
"Well," Heidi shrugged, "Who says she has to ruin it?" she looked to Tracey with a raised eyebrow.
