Tracey laughed bitterly. "Ginny and Katie, it seems." She didn't know if she should be hurt or angry so she settled on both. She could count the people who liked her on one hand easily. It seemed the people who hated her were too many to count.
Falling back on the bed, she held Heidi close and tried to calm down. Heidi's admission made her feel better. "Then that's all I need," Tracey stated, trying to convince herself more than anything. If she had sacrificed everything to be with Heidi, Tracey knew she needed to be enough.
After holding her girlfriend for a long time, Heidi laughed with exasperated bitterness. "I had a whole thing planned too," she complained sardonically. "And Ginny had to go and ruin it."
