Being right was something Cho was used to. She was one of the smartest girls in the school...just not the smartest according to the teachers. That lofty mantle was reserved for Hermione Granger. She was just a tad bitter about it. Blushing as Elise twirled and showed off a bit more then her uniform, the cheerleading skirt always seemed to her to be shorter then even the school uniform skirt. Not that she had any proof that it was...
"I do like it, truly I do. To be honest, I am a little jealous."
There, she had said it. Surely Elise would understand why she was jealous. Being a cheerleader was attractive...being a Quidditch player and Head Girl...not so much. In her mind it wasn't, at least. When she first heard the younger girl say 'merci', she thought that Elise was asking her to show the Gryffindors mercy. But no...it was French.
"I thank you again for your confidence in me and my team. Will you be cheering for Ravenclaw then?"
The individual cheerleaders chose which side to cheer for at a game since the cheerleading squad was inter-house. So long as two cheered for either side, there were no problems from her experience. Caught unawares by the blonde girl's question, Cho found herself looking for a date before she caught herself.
"No, I am here alone. Was I supposed to come with someone?" she asked, not certain about the requirements of this particular party. "Are you supposed to meet someone here?" she added.
