Summary: Having dinner, Ken's cooking so Rose isn't poisoning anyone.
Rose finished fixing up her hair before taking a step back to look in the full length mirror of her flat, flattening her dress. With work and well... just self seclusion in general, (She used to make fun of those old ladies who only interacted with their cats but she quickly seen just how easily one could come to that point. It was scary.) She hadn't got out much for fun. She had just found a place she was most comfortable at and stayed there, letting the world pass her by. But she was tired of just sitting there, living in routine. So this outing was what was needed.
How did she get the address? Well Rose didn't own any piece of electronics or technology. But that didn't mean she didn't know people who did so she gave Ken her mother's contact information via web and her mother had written it down for her when she had visited that morning to check on her father who, surprise surprise, had food poisoning because he couldn't keep his hands out of the fridge and ate something bad that HE forgot to take out. She didn't hold grudges against people who involved with the technology. She just personally felt no need to have it. She wanted to keep things how they were because it was what made the wizarding world special. Made it magical and it seemed the more modern it got, the more of its special touch it lost.
Rose loved history and the Wizarding world was jam packed with it. But it seemed it was all fading and it was hurtful. She remembered when she was younger and her mother would take her and Hugo to go and visit their grandparents and that world fascinated her. The speed of everyone's lives. They weren't magical but literally everything was at their finger tips. As much as she loved it, she couldn't wait to return home where things were more slowly paced and more intimate with the people surrounding you. Like face to face communication, the beauty of a handwritten letter. Then while she was home, she looked forward to going back and seeing the other side of things. But now it was like the worlds were becoming one and it was boring so even if her protests didn't do much to stop the change, at least she was still honoring old times.
With everything in place, Rose collected her small black purse that complimented her outfit. She moved to the kitchen and lifted the Strawberry shortcake she got for dessert and headed out. She followed to where the address led her and coming to the door, her hand came out giving a firm yet undemanding knock, she stood back awaiting for Ken to open the door.
