Who: Tymor and Lyanora
When: Jan. 5th
Where: Along the Kingsroad
Rating: PG
Status: Incomplete

Tymor rode along with Lyanora and a small mix of Lannister and Stark retainers. So far, they hadn't had any luck in finding the girls. On the positive side, they hadn't found any remains that resembled Genna and Gwyn either. Not that any remains would look like anything but decay at this point in time, but Tymor suspected there was a good chance that the girls were alive. Or so he was hoping.

They hadn't been found anywhere near Winterfell. Their small party had joined in on the fighting, and helped to win a major battle that pushed the Greyjoys back. They stayed for nearly a month in the North, helping with the fighting, and searching nearby towns for the girls before finally heading back South. As much as Tymor knew it would be hard for his aunt to leave Ned behind, the simple fact was that if they stayed any longer, the weather would get too bad to make travelling an option.

They'd travelled south and gone to Casterly Rock next. If the girls hadn't gone to Winterfell, perhaps they had come to Casterly Rock. No luck there, either, though it was a good deal warmer than up noth.

"You know, I almost wonder if they're hiding within King's Landing itself," mused Tymor.

Dragons Fall: The Feast

When: Day 53, evening
Where: The Great Hall, The Red Keep
Who: All the nobles, others in the castle
Rating: PG or wherever the scheming takes them...

In the yards, silk tents had sprung up and casks of ale and tables laden with food had taken the place of the training grounds for the day. It was a feast to welcome the Ambassador of Lys and the Dornish newcomers to the court- but there were those who said it had other purposes. A celebration of the demise of the last princess, perhaps, or a show of Northron power....

The Great Hall rang with laughter and yet not all was well; there were somber faces as well as merry. Many noted Lord Penrose was not yet present and whispers drifted over the courses of goose and venison that he had resigned his post as Hand.

The evening held some warmth though the winter's chill was creeping closer. But the king had summoned his court and a feast was set before them all. Dancers from the Summer Isles spun in gowns of bright silk, acrobats leapt and tumbled, fools capered and juggled and singers told tales of ancient days. No breath of winter ever touched the land of song...

let the feast begin.

Who: Toria, ?
When: Day 53, afternoon
Where: King's Landing
Rating: PG?
Status: OPEN

After receiving notice that two of the dresses she'd had made were ready, Toria returned to the dressmaker's shop. In addition to money for her dresses, she'd brought along a couple of large baskets of fresh bread. The smallfolk had appreciated her last charitable gesture. It didn't hurt to remind them of House Lannister's philanthropy. After all, her father was likely to be named Hand once Lord Penrose formally stepped down from the position.

Although the charitable gesture didn't have any personal effect on the highborn in King's Landing, it had made a positive impression amongst most people. The children Toria had hired told her so. Some, however, had said that a highborn lady shouldn't bother mingling with common folk and should have sent a servant to offer the gifts instead. Toria concluded they'd missed the point entirely. The point was for the smallfolk to be able to place a face to the kindnesses rather than solely a family name.

Ser Geron, her ever present shadow when she wasn't in the Keep, accompanied her. He waited outside the dressmaker's shop as she finished the transaction, but stood close by when she began passing out bread.

Who: Toria, Lyanora (others may show up later if they'd like)
When: Day 51, sometime after Lya's visit with Lilyanna
Where: King's Landing, the Red Keep, in a hallway
Rating: PG
Status: Open

Toria was naturally very light on her feet. She had to be careful not to sneak up on her family members. However, when she really did want to sneak up on someone, this was a useful skill. She'd heard her aunt Lyanora speaking just down the hall and had taken care to move along extra quietly. Nobody noticed her approach until it was too late.

"Aunt Lyanora!" said Toria delightedly as she launched herself toward her aunt for an affectionate flying-hug.

It wasn't entirely ladylike, but given her aunt's predisposition to wear men's clothing and carry a sword around, her aunt wasn't likely to scold her for it.

Who: Lilyanna, Lyanora
When: Day 51
Where: Lyanora's Quarters, Kings Landing
Rating: PG
Status: Open to Lyanora -- possibly other Starks?

Yesterday had been a trying enough day, sending her youngest back off to Casterly Rock with Tyronne for an escort. Her second son was new to his spurs, but Jaremy would certainly think twice about giving him trouble, and with any luck so would anyone on the road between King's Landing and the Rock. It was, perhaps, good practice for her for when he would go to squire -- certain things did not get any easier with practice.

With that off her mind (or as it should have been off her mind), Lily turned her attention inward. She'd been so preoccupied that she hadn't even had the chance to bid her little sister an appropriate hello since she arrived in King's Landing. I should have seen her sooner, she chided herself as she strode to the quarters where her sister was being housed during her stay. She knocked on the great wooden door, and waited for her answer.
