Who: Molly Weasley and Vera Lestrange (if anyone else wanted to come through, they're welcome to--Arthur, for example...)
What: Getting to know each other (AKA When two worlds collide)
Where: Grimmauld Place kitchen
Why: Well, it was inevitable they were going to run into each other eventually--and it should be interesting, at the very least.
Rating: Lowish, I'd think, unless Vera does something in an attempt to shock Molly.
Warnings: It's Molly for Pete's sake. What would we have warnings for? An attempt to stifle people with love and pity and compassion? Maybe some extensive nagging?
Molly was making mental lists of what she needed to do as she made her way through the Blacks' ancestral home. She wanted to bake more banana bread for Ginny and maybe some shortbread for Ron--"Is it Ron that likes shortbread? Or is that George?". She wondered if she could send some brownies to Charlie and Bill--"Maybe Arthur would be willing to take them so he could check on the boys"--and if there would be enough time to make Arthur a nice pie. She had to make stew to set in the fridge at Grimmauld Place for anyone who happened to be around, and possibly a layer cake. She wanted to use the day-old bread she was bringing home from the bakery to make stuffing so she could make a turkey tomorrow.
All in all, her evening would be spent cooking and baking, but she was satisfied with that. There was something peaceful and purposeful about putting all the ingredients together to make something to please people. It gave her a sense of accomplishment. She'd told Arthur where she'd be, so maybe he'd be by as well.
She turned on the wireless and started humming along as she began to unpack the shopping bags she'd brought with her.
